Raining here today, and will probably rain most of the day. For those of you who are golf fans - the U.S. Open (golf) starts today and it's being played 5 miles east of me.... Tiger is gonna be sloshing around the course today and Saturday.

With a pair of binoculars and some tree climbing skills you could get to see the action for free.

Talking of binoculars,young Matty came up to me the other day and kept saying "nocky me ass Daddy.nocky me ass Daddy".

He kept sayig it so in the end ,reluctantly i have to say,i pushed him over onto his ass!!!!!

That was when my wife informed me he wanted his BINOCULARS

When he got them he gained revenge ny getting me to "haffa look Daddy" and when he put them to my eyes he gouged them in and nearly blinded me!!!

I'm REALLY, REALLY effing tired of this rain. I've been washed out at the golf course four times in the last two weeks.

It's very beautiful here today. While June is usually warm, but overcast month, it's around 80 and sunny and more importantly it's not smogy. Crystal clear.

It reached 99 today with a heat index well over that. I jogged about 1.5 miles, and for the first time this year I could really feel the heat. God, the sweat.

It must be hot all over. I just talked to my sister in Michigan and she said it was 92 today. Summer is here!!! Yea!!!

Boiling hot today.

Normally i would welcome it but i am having a shit day and being constantly covered in sweat isn't helping

I'm curious.... what do you consider boiling hot? (what's the temperature?)

At 10am it was 30 d Celcius.

It is getting warmer as well.

This is hot for us,i am down to my shorts and not much else....

OK... that's 86°F here. For 10 a.m. that IS hot!

Yes SC but she is up in Scotland and i am here in Newcastle. It is only a 2 hour drive but,perversely,my wife is at the funeral of her best friends mother this morning and the kids are at school. I have been ringing my aunts up there but their cell phones are switched off. Until my wife gets back we cannot sort anything out. I am pacing the house like a caged tiger. A hot, sweaty one at that!

Geez... when it rains, it pours, huh?

If you guys have "evening hours" at the wake (like we do here) perhaps you can make that viewing.

It does that SC. One of my aunts is in poor health herself as is my mother so it doesn't just rain it MONSOONS

We could be up there by evening if needed. The kids in school complicates matters but we will sort it out...somehow!!
