I read through a lot more posts here than I actually respond to, especially with the political threads, so I've not been an active participant in debates here - but I observe when I can. And I will join in on everyone else's compliments, in agreement about what a respectful and honorable poster you are. Not only do you seem very knowledgeable, you have the good nature to know how to treat other members well, which we all appreciate. Afsaneh, are you alright? There are less news, less videos, less messages from Iran. Do you have Internet access?
All I hear is that there are a lot of oppositionals in jail. Many of the "confessed" they had been influenced by Western media and politicians.

Thank you Danito, yes I'm fine. Today was the 10th anniversary of attack on University of Tehran and there were demonstrations all over Tehran and some other cities.

All you've heard is right. The government said there's been around 2500 arrests, and many will be charged and prosecuted. Some 20 people were executed, which they said was drug related, but I just doubt it.

Wow, it looks like a huge protest. Huffington Post has a couple youtube videos posted. Check them out.
