Have you ever been to Vegas? You'd love it. It definitely is an Elvis town. While there are tons of E.P. impersonators, they also have a "Legends In Concert" show which has played for years now. I went for the 2nd time about 2 years ago. This guy is pretty good. I like that he sings early Elvis & Elvis in the later years.

As you probably already know, in Vegas you can even get married by Elvis. I was there about two summers ago and one of the not so famous casinos had a "Big Elvis" perform every afternoon at 2 & 5. Everytime I walked by that casino they'd be advertising Big Elvis. I never went to seen him, but by the picture, it seemed to be a fat guy with a jump suit and sun glasses. Then again, he may have been pretty good. I've never known Vegas to have any unprofessional/amature type acts, at least not on the strip.

If you ever come to America, I'm sure you'd love to visit Vegas. You can get all kinds of Elvis souveneirs as well.

I try not to dulge into his concerts circa 1976-77 sad times im sure.That's the problem with the fat Elvis image thats what people remember him by and forget his was and his the greatest entertainer/singer ever..

I agree. And as I've said, to many he'll forever be remembered an overweight singer in a jumpsuit. There is so much more to this talented singer. He's a definite one of a kind, and I'm with you...he's my all time favorite entertainer as well.

Nice choices DeNiro. However, I must say, I'm burnt out on Burning Love. It's a good song, but is sooooo overplayed.
Jailhouse Rock remains one of my favorites too.

Others, I like of his early stuff include, Trouble, Mystery Train, Anyway You Want Me, and later Such a Night and Any Day Now. Gosh, I could go on and on.

Btw, back in Michigan, I have an original recording on a 45 of Elvis's army interview which was a limited release. However it was re-released later I believe.
