Years ago I probably would have quite a list but as I get older I find I don't have any large lofty goals. I am taking the time to smell te roses one might say. My wants, for the most part are not huge. My list is short: (I'll add when/if I think of more). 1. I'd like to see my grandkids grow and marry and who knows, maybe live to be a greatgrandmother. (no hurry though) You know, all the important stuff 2. It's always been a wish to go to Italy (and Sicily to see my father's birthplace). I was thinking lately of a train trip from coast to coast(or at least to Michigan). You know, stop over in several major cities at a leisurely pace, perhaps meeting up for lunch with a BBer here and there . I don't know though if it'd be too much train. I have no idea how something like that works or costs. It's been years since Ive been on a train. TIS

TIS, I wanted to go to Florida by train. My husband refused to go. He did it once when he was a kid, because his mother developed a fear of flying. He said that it sounds like a terrific way to see the country, but the parts of the country that are near train tracks are not anything you would want to see. Although I didn't like driving to Florida, I would like to try it when I have several weeks, maybe stopping in Washington, DC, Savannah, or other points south of where I live.

I was thinking more of staying overnight at least one night in various cities (maybe not even sleep on the train). But yea, hanging out by train stations wouldn't be too much fun (not to mention safe) I'm just tossing it around. TIS

funny enough, many BBers would like to travel to Italy and I'd love to go to USA (please, Mignon and TIS, come and visit me!!!)
anyway, my list is:
1. find the love of my life, marry him and happily grow old together 2. make lot of charity work 3. have many pets
(BTW, in this very moment president Obama is in Vatican to meet the Pope)
I don't want realism. I want magic! Yes, yes, magic. I try to give that to people. I do misrepresent things. I don't tell the truth. I tell what ought to be truth (Blanche/A streetcar named desire)

Hope you find your dreams Lavi!! Italy is the land of "Love" so you have a head start. Btw, are you anywhere near the Vatican? If you see our President, send him my best. I'd love to go to the Vatican someday myself. TIS

Dear TIS, Consider it done! Just leave me your bank account number, password, ID number and credit card number, and I'll take care of the rest

Hey Mig, I aint cheap! 2 Millions for you, and 2 for Becky!
And TIS, on a more serious note, you really shouldnt open those emails when you get them. Many of them contain viruses, trojan horses and all that crap. Just delete them without opening.
BAM...if I do buy the cubs...maybe I'll make Waldo our new mascot. We'll leave Carmen Sandiego for JG and the Yankees. Whaddaya say?

BBers Can you imagine the BBers in Sicily? We'd probably be so gun-ho on "mob" stuff that we'd find ourselves sticking our noses in in the wrong places and waking up with a horse's head in our beds for real. LOL Come to think of it, if that happened (and we survived) can you imagine the how cool that we be to live to tell the tale? TIS
