A little off topic, but it amazes me how often Rush Limbaugh and his opinions are discussed on MSNBC. I guess with Democratic control of the White House and congress, they need to make someone "the bad guy". And how does Bill Maher still even have a show? Without Bush to attack and mock, what does he do now?

Many assume that Rush as the GOP leader, since all the Righties tend to hang on his every word and Steele doesn't do anything. More than once I hear him referred to as "Boss Limbaugh."

As far as Maher, yea, I still watch him, but let's face it, Bush is a comedian's dream with endless comedic material. So much to work with there. A joke at every turn.

Mig, you should learn your history before making a comment like that. Obama is one of the best on-his-feet speakers as president we've ever had. He, if anybody, doesn't need a teleprompter.

Freddie, there is still (barely) a Republican Party and the likes of Sarah Palin and Michael Steele.

For some reason that I don't quite get, the Right took hold of the fact that Obama uses a teleprompter. Considering these were mostly Bush supporters, I figure whatever the joke is, it's on them considering the last President couldn't put a decent sentence together.

Seriously, if you read negative Obama blogs, they love using not only the teleprompter thing, but will sarcastically call Obama, "Barry" (his nickname, like that's offensive or something) and of course the ridiculous birth issue. You know all the serious issues.

On a humourous note (well another kind of humorous note) did anyone see Jon Stewart last night? I missed it, but just saw a small clip of it. Btw, some internet poll showed him the most trusted newsman.

Anyway, this is a good example as to why perhaps: The clip shows Stewart talking about Obama's speech the night before and how he commented on this Gates thing. Stewart shows it with satisfaction until Obama says "stupidly" and then Jon stretches over across his desk yelling "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" realizing the impact of those remarks as maybe even he did as they came out of his mouth. Anyway, it was hilarious but maybe you have to see it to apprecaite the humor.

TIS, it's not hard to figure out. They elected a President who publically refered to OB/GYNs not being able to "practice their love for women." Now, their leaders are a talk show host and a beauty pageant contestant. The Republican Party has turned into The Gong Show. Madonne!

Coulter did not describe her feelings about their enjoyment. She stated her witness to it. So, describe the behavior that constitutes their enjoyment and provide us with an inventory of names of those widows that you have witnessed enjoying their husbands death with whom you compared their behavior.

You know,it's a simple damn thing to just do a little research to answer your own question. There are multiple sources where his birth certificate has been produced including on Hardball on friday where Chris Matthews showed it to Gordon Liddy of all people (a "renowed" Republican and conservative who is also a convicted felon). Iceman, I had written a number of things here about some of the women I personally know whose lives were so horribly altered on that day. And then I thought about the courage and dignity with which they have met the many challenges that are an outcome of that. And I decided that a vicious, bilious and headline-seeking person like Ann Coulter isn't worth spit, and neither is anyone who subscribes to what she says.

I think this birth certificate issue is a waste of time, if there was any truth to that, Hillary would've used it to win the DNC nomination over him.

GOP must think of a hot hooker to lure Obama into some sort of scandal if they are looking for something to hold water, better than that, kill the hooker after you dope him.
