Tommy Henrich, a better than average outfielder who played for the Yankees in the '30s and '40s died today at age 96.

He was a teammate of Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio and Yogi Berra (not a bad list, huh?).

I just didn't want to see people compiling lists of the oldest living people that they could find. What's the fun of that?

I guess whoever organizes the 2010 list should decide on what scoring rules we follow.

TIS, Our don of death, Geoff, is leading so far.

The new list for next year should be submitted before the ball in Times Square falls. Right now, the $64 question is ~ who is organizing this thing for next year?

SC mentioned/suggested age limit? What about adding a point or two if say, for instance, you have someone under 25 on your list and that person dies? Or give only a half a point if it's someone over say 70?????

I don't really care, just trying to make it more interesting. But then, don't go by me. It's not like I've been winning this the last two years. lol
