So glad to see the Reds finally have a win over a decent side (or a win in general!).
On the other subject: Does anyone know what it was that upset Rooney (surely not the money he's getting?) and what Rooney said that upset his team-mates and Mr Ferguson?

Rooney is a good footballer but is a greedy piece of shit.
He upset everybody in England by playing like a drain in the World Cup. Later it was revealed his poor form was down to banging prostitutes and the like.
After starting the new season looking disinterested it was revealed he wanted away from United because they have no ambition. The real reason really being he wanted more coin, which he eventually got, something like £200,000 a week....
Unbelievable.
Funny for the rest of us mortals who aren't over fond of the Reds but i would be well pissed off if i was a fan.
i'm interested to get DN's take on all this? I think Rooney definitely went the wrong way about getting a nice pay rise, the agent of Rooney probably had a lot to do with this.. It will be a while until the fans take to him again but overall im glad he's staying as he's England's best talent since Gascoigne.. you obviously are forgetting Andy Carroll mate

Can't believe Ashley has sacked Hughton....... The man has done a brilliant job and has the respect of everyone. Newcastle shoot themselves in the foot once again...although i don't class Ashley as Newcastle. The bloke is a pure first class wanker
