This past weekend was our <cough> 38th anniversary, so the real MaryCas and I went to NYC to celebrate. Arrived, Friday, noon; downtown, lunch at the Stone St Tavern (on Stone St), walked around Battery Park, drove uptown through the heart of Chinatown (always fun), checked into The Kitano Hotel, Park Ave/38th St, very nice...quiet. Relaxed, cabbed it over to 9th AVe/47th St, nice Italian dinner at Amarone. Saturday morning,7am, 3 mile jog up to Central Park and back. Daughter/Soninlaw checked in a noon, slice of pizza, off to Bway, HAIR (saw it 40 years ago)great show, lots of energy. Drinks at the Marriott Marquis, dinner at Victors Cafe, 52nd St (Cuban), back to the hotel, Sunday morning, 9Am Latin Mass at the Church of Our Savior, lunch at the Bread Factory, home. Lots of Fun. Nothin like a weekend in New York. I'm broke now.

I don't know any of those places (except Battery Park), but it sounds so fun. Sounds like you both had a great time. I wish many more years of marital bliss MC. And a Latin mass?? Wow, it's been years. I remember in Catholic school going to mass every day, nanswering the Priest in Latin and singing the hyms (Santus, Santus???? and Angues Dei??) Don't know if I spelled them correctly though. But I'd love to hear a Latin Mass again. It'll refresh my feeble memory. Anwyay, NY is the place to celebrate just about anyting I dare say. TIS

I did not know how many babes they had in New York. There's fine women every where. My neck will be broken when I get back from all the head turning I've been doing here. So DiMaggio, are you still in NY? Where did you end up staying? Btw, I missed where you are originally from? What state? Have fun TIS
