As I told Don Sicilia in a PM, I didn't even look at my scores until Monday morning. I assumed that I got slaughtered since Ricky Williams and Thomas Jones played so poorly. I was not overly confident heading into MNF that Manningham would generate the two points needed.

I wouldn't go that far - I did end the season losing 3 of my last 5. I was hoping to do better though.

JD is my bro-in-law. He's been playing with us for 3 years now. We've been making fun of him because of what we call his voo-doo. He has a decent team and all, but for whatever reason, whenever he faces one of the teams that are better on paper, his opponent has a poor week.

After a week and a half off of work with very little internet access, I am back refreshed and looking forward to a happy 2010. Congrats to Goombah, our second two-time winner. Your team was strong this year - imagine if you had made the draft. wink

Congrats also to my bro-in-law, JD, for finishing in 2nd place. His team came up with just enough points to beat most other teams.

Lastly, I want to wish all of you a happy and healthy new year. Thanks for playing this year. It's been fun and I can't wait until next year.

I would say I'm retiring until the next season but I'm not sure if anyone is doing a playoff football game, so I'll hold off.

Thanks everyone. I felt like I had a non-descript team, but Aaron Rodgers, Ricky Williams and Frank Gore sustained me throughout most of the year.

While I was happy to win this free league, I was elated that I won about $400 in my non-BB league yesterday. I was a little panicked heading into Week 17 as both of my QBs sat because their teams had clinched: Brees & Rivers. So I picked up Alex Smith and some RB from Atlanta named Snelling - both of whom came through. I also picked up Jerome Harrison for the game and was rewarded. I have had it happen the other way where I was within contention and had to make late season moves and they did not pan out, so it was nice to have them be favorable.
