I never cried over a Trilogy scene, but as others have stated, I felt a great deal of sadness especially at the end when Michael dies - the path not taken. He could have been a college professor. Instead, he embarked on a life of murder and mayhem, destruction of life and living. Everything he had and that his wife and children had came from someone else's blood. The silent scream to me was the epitome of what the Trilogy was all about and the culmination of the path taken.
