Genovese Underboss Venero "Benny Eggs" Mangano. Was convicted for his role in the "Windows Case" back in the early 1990's where the mob used Iron Workers Union Local 580 and various companies to control the window replacement industry in New York and skim $142 million from numerous projects. Said to be partially retired at this point due to his advanced age.

Genovese Consigliere James "The Little Guy" Ida. In prison for life following a conviction for racketeering and murder in 1996.

Genovese Captain and former Acting Boss Liborio "Barney" Bellomo. Was the first to take over as Acting Boss for Vincent Gigante when he was indicted in the "Windows Case" back in the early 1990's. Was convicted around the same time as Gigante was in the late 1990's. Has been involved in many of the family's rackets including the waterfront and the Carpenter's Union at the Javits Center. A number of members of his crew have also been Acting Boss.

Genovese Captain and former Acting Boss Dominick "Quiet Dom" Cirillo. Was orginally part of Vincent Gigante's Greenwich Village crew. Took over as Acting Boss in the late 1990's when Bellomo was convicted. Had a heart attack shortly thereafter and had to temporarilly step down. Later resumed his role as Acting Boss before he was indicted with other family leaders for racketeering, loansharking, extortion, and murder conspiracy in 2005.

Genovese Captain and former Acting Boss Daniel "The Lion" Leo. Became Acting Boss after Cirillo went away in 2005 but also continued to run his own crew in the Bronx. Was indicted in 2007 on charges of loansharking and extortion. And again last year on racketeering and conspiracy charges.

Genovese Captain Anthony "Tico" Antico. Was indicted with Dom Cirillo back in 2005. Was indicted in 2008 and just last week in a robbery and murder case.

Genovese Captain John "Johnny Sausages" Barbato. Started out as driver for Benny Eggs Mangano. Was indicted in 2005 with Dom Cirillo. Was also indicted the year before, in 2004, for extorting over $2 million in payoffs from construction companies through control of Roofers Union Local 8.

One time Acting Captain of Barney Bellomo's crew and former Acting Boss Ernest "Ernie" Muscarella. Was indicted in 2003 with various members and associates of the Genovese and Colombo families for skimming millions from no show jobs through control of Operating Engineers Union Locals 14 and 15.

Former Acting Captain of Barney Bellomo's crew and former Acting Boss Arthur "Artie" Nigro. Was indicted in 2006 with several other members of the Genovese family's Bronx faction. And was recently indicted for extortion and the murder of Springfield Genovese Captain Al Bruno in 2003.

Genovese Captain Ludwig "Ninny" Bruschi. Was indicted in 2003 with several Genovese members and associates for running a massive gambling operation that stretched from Philadelphia, through New Jersey, and into New York.

Acting Captain for Ninny Bruschi's crew Anthony "Tony T" Palumbo. Was indicted last year with Danny Leo, who reportedly had him overseeing all New Jersey operations.

Genovese Captain Silvio DeVita. This is a very old photo from the Atlantic City casino exclusion list. He runs one of the family's crews in New Jersey.

Genovese Captain Joseph "The Eagle" Gatto. He runs another Jersey crew. Was indicted in 2004 along with several other members and associates for running a multi-million dollar gambling operation that utilized wirerooms in Costa Rica.

Genovese Captain Tino "The Greek" Fiumara. His crew has operated on the New Jersey waterfront through control of ILA locals for decades. Spent several years in prison and now lives on Long Island.

Acting Captain for Tino Fiumara's crew Michael "Mikey Cigars" Coppola. Was a fugitive for years before finally being captured. During that time he had still managed to oversee the Fiumara crew's operations.

Genovese Captain Rosario "Ross" Gangi. Was involved in the rackets back when the family controlled the Fulton Fish Market. Was later indicted in 2001 with dozens of other members and associates for various crimes including gambling, loansharking, extortion, stock fraud, union fund embezzlement, etc.

Acting Captain for Ross Gangi's crew Salvatore "Sammy Meatballs" Aparo. Was also indicted in the 2001 for his role in labor bribery involving the Building Service Worker's Union Local 32 BJ.

Genovese Captain and former Acting Boss Matthew "Matty the Horse" Ianniello. Has run one of the family's crews for decades. Was indicted in 2006 for his role in controlling the waste carting industry in Connecticut. Was also indicted that year for his control of Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1181.

Acting Captain for Matty Ianniello's crew Ciro Perrone. Was also indicted in the Local 1181 case.

Genovese Captain Alphone "Allie Shades" Malangone. Ran the family's garbage rackets through the King's County Waste Association and was involved in the Fulton Fish Market.

Acting Captain for Allie Shade's crew Alan "Baldy" Longo. Was involved in the 2001 case with Gangi and other Genovese leaders.

Genovese Captain Pasquale "Patsy" Parello. Oversees a crew in the Bronx. Was charged in 2001 with other family leaders for various crimes including embezzling over $1 million from Carpenters Union locals 11 and 964.

Genovese Captain Angelo "The Horn" Prisco. Originally from the Bronx but expanded to oversee his crew's operations in New Jersey, including on the waterfront. His crew was also involved in violent home invasion robberies. Recently pled guilty and received life in prison for murder and other crimes.

Genovese Captain Mario Gigante. Brother of the late family boss Vincent Gigante. This is a very old photo. Ran the family's garbage rackets in Westchester for years.

Gambino Boss Peter "Petey Boy" Gotti. Still the official Boss even though he'll likely die in prison. Currently serving a sentence from a 2002 case involving the family's control of the Brookly and Staten Island waterfronts though ILA locals 1 and 1814, as well as other crimes.

Gambino Underboss Arnold "Zeke" Squitieri. Was indicted in 2005 with dozens of other Gambino members and associates for crimes ranging from the extortion of construction and trucking companies and union embezzlement to illegal gambling and fencing stolen goods.

Gambino Consigliere Joseph "Jo Jo" Corozzo. Was indicted in 2007 with the rest of the family's leadership and dozens of other members and associates for extorting trucking and construction companies, illegal gambling, drug trafficking, securities fraud, and other crimes.

Gambino Captain and former Acting Boss John "Jackie the Nose" D'Amico. Was also indicted in the 2007 case and again in 2008 on murder, gambling, extortion, and witness tampering charges.

Angelo was found guilty of murdering his cousin last year. He didn't plead guilty. And no bio on him would be complete without mentioning that he ran the Purple Gang in East Harlem during the 70s.
