However, what really ticks me off (if it's true) is that they MAY charge you a fee if you don't use your card enough. WTF!!!! I'm checking every bit of info that I get about any of my cards.

Yes, they can do that. It depends on the agreement or any updates to the agreement. They got me with that a few months back for a card I had gotten for my small business but had not used. They charged me a "inactivity fee". Yup. Because I HADN'T borrowed money from them, they charged me money. This would make Don Corleone weep tears of joy. I closed the card account. It was the principle of the thing (no pun intended) and not the principal.
Always read the fine print, disclosures and updates. Banks aren't looking to do anyone any favors. They don't much like people that pay everything off in full each month or worse, don't even use the card. Ideally they want everyone to carry a balance and pay minimum payments a few days late.
"When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives." Winter is Coming Now this is the Law of the Jungleāas old and as true as the sky; And the wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the wolf that shall break it must die. As the creeper that girdles the tree-trunk, the Law runneth forward and back; For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.
