You have to love TruTV. They have the absolutely craziest stuff on - insane car chases, a bull that leaps the wall in the midst of a bullfight and runs through the crowd, a deaf man's videotaped home invasion, and so on.

I watched the debut of the Construction Intervention show the other night. I enjoy watching things be built or projects finish. I wish I had paid more attention to my Dad and Granddad about such things when I had a chance.

I don't know if the show will last. But the "host" Charles Frattini is a VERY excitable guy who drives his workers pretty hard. I guess that's required, particularly in a business like that. I couldn't deal with a boss yelling at me constantly but it is fun TV and Frattini appears to know his business pretty well.

I don't think celebrities owe anyone anything except their best performance, whether it be in sports, movies, music, what have you. If someone wasn't a happy go lucky, outgoing, always smiling person before they became skilled, rich and famous they probably won't change that part of their personality very much after they make it big.

Some scary news for Bret Michaels fans.

After suffering an excruciating headache late Thursday night, Michaels, 47, was rushed to an undisclosed hospital where doctors discovered he had a massive brain hemorrhage, reports People.com.

Michaels is currently in critical condition.

(PEOPLE.com) -- In public, Sandra Bullock has been through the best and worst of times this year -- from winning her first Oscar to enduring the breakup of her marriage.

In private, she was quietly keeping a joyful secret -- his name is Louis, and he is her newborn son.

"He's just perfect, I can't even describe him any other way," Bullock reveals exclusively in the new issue of PEOPLE, announcing that she is the proud mother of Louis Bardo Bullock, a 3½-month-old boy, born in New Orleans. "It's like he's always been a part of our lives."

Bullock, 45, and husband Jesse James, 41, began the adoption process four years ago and brought Louis home in January but decided to keep the news to themselves until after the Oscars. Their close friends and family -- including James's children Sunny, 6, Jesse Jr., 12, and Chandler, 15 -- were essential in keeping the adoption a secret.

Then, just 10 days after the March 7 Oscars, Bullock and James separated following reports James had cheated. Bullock says she is now adopting as a single parent.

well i just watched Avatar, and my opinion is basically the same as i expressed during oscar night. the story is decent, and it just reminds me of Dances with Wolves too much. But, i might be wrong with the best picture...this is by far the best special effects since Jurassic Park. this movie is nowhere near the top level nor the level below that...if anything its on the same level as Rocky III and Godfather Part III.

if a sequel is planned i might be more open of liking it because it should at least be more original than the first.

NEW YORK (AP) -- Lynn Redgrave, an introspective and independent player in her family's acting dynasty who became a 1960s sensation as the freethinking title character of "Georgy Girl" and later dramatized her troubled past in such one-woman stage performances "Shakespeare for My Father" and "Nightingale," has died. She was 67.

Her publicist Rick Miramontez, speaking on behalf of her children, said Redgrave died peacefully Sunday night at her home in Connecticut. Children Ben, Pema and Annabel were with her.

Anyone watch "Say Yes To The Dress" on TLC?? It's about Kleinfeld's, a famous bridal store in Manhattan. I would like to know where these women are getting their money. It seems that most of them have a budget of $5,000. And some of them buy TWO - one for the ceremony and one for the reception.

Probably the same place the women of Housewives of NJ got their money.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck has apologized to Erin Andrews — publicly and privately — for comments she made Tuesday about Andrews’s choice of attire on Dancing With the Stars.

Speaking tearfully on The View on Wednesday, Hasselbeck said she regretted the remarks, in which she said Andrews’s convicted stalker — who filmed her through a hotel room peephole — could have avoided prison and seen almost as much of Andrews just by watching this season of the hit ABC dancing competition.

Hasselbeck said she left work Tuesday feeling bad about the comments and opened up to her 5-year-old daughter at home. “She’s so cute, she said to me, ‘Mommy, why don’t you just call Erin and tell her you’re sorry?’ ” Hasselbeck said. “So, thankfully, I listened to her — she’s a wise little girl — and I did. So, I’m really sorry, and I wanted to offer that publicly too, even though I did follow that advice.”

Andrews told PEOPLE after Tuesday’s DWTS results show that Hasselbeck’s remarks were “a slap in the face to victims of stalking and sexual predators.” She added: “As a mother and a woman, I’m disappointed she went there.”

Hasselback may have done something stupid, but at least she's got the courage to admit it. It seems like a sincere apology, too, not one of those "You screwed up and better apologize!"

I don't watch a lot of TV outside of news but was the costume particularly risque?

I haven't seen too many episodes this season, but if I know DWTS, the answer is probably yes.
