Palin is a screaching moron   Just so ya' know. Aside from not being very bright, her rhetoric is downright dangerous. Now I'm quite cognizant of the fact that there are some brilliant conservatives in this country; she just isn't one of them. Can you imagine her in a debate against Obama in 2012? If that doesn't send a chill down the spines of Republicans everywhere, I don't know what does. Sarah Palin: "Well, Mister 'Hussein' Obama, are you going to produce a birth certificate this time?" President Obama: "As soon as you produce a high school diploma."  Of course, ya'll may know that her interview show premiers on Fox today (a cruel April Fool's joke of there ever was one). Are ya'll aware of the show's controversy all ready? Both Cool J and Toby Keith interviews of each by Palin were to be broadcast on the show never took place, so Keith weants to know where the material for the broadcast is coming from. He states that he was never contacted by Fox about an interview. Palin at her best!

Sarah Palin isn't the liar, Barack Obama is the liar. He is one of the biggest most arrogant liars that ever set foot in the White House. And although I doubt she could make it through the primaries if she even decided to run in 2012, Palin would be a hands down far superior President to the one we are suffering with right now. What, Mig? You can't seriously think that woman is a credible politician, can you? I mean, I've been pretty vocal about Obama's shortcomings so far, and about as objective as a Democrat can be. I've been almost too critical of him. But you can't seriously believe that that woman has half the political savvy as President Obama, or a tenth of his intelligence. She's a fucking dummy. Period.

President Barack Obama used an April Fools' Day appearance in Maine on Thursday to poke fun at reporters and pundits for being too impatient in their coverage of the effects of the health care reform bill.
"Can you imagine if some of these reporters were working on a farm? You planted some seeds and they came out the next day," Obama began before launching into an imagined monologue by a journalist: "'Nothing's happened. There's no crop. We're gonna to starve. Oh, no! It's a disaster!'"
"It's been a week, folks," Obama deadpanned, counseling everyone -- from reporters to Republicans -- to withhold judgment on the changes to the country's health care system until they have a chance to sink in.
Obama weaved other bits of humor into his speech in Portland, Maine as he refuted Republican assertions that health care reform would lead to "Armageddon."
Contrary to those statements, Obama said -- as he has before -- that no asteroids fell from the sky after the reform bill became law and added a new twist: "nobody pulled the plug on granny."
Even so, the president conceded that he understood criticism was inevitable.
"You're free to call your president an idiot," Obama said. "That's a wonderful thing."

President Obama called out Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh by name in an interview with CBS News' Harry Smith about the vitriol present on the talk radio airwaves.
"I've been out and about, listening to talk radio," Smith told Obama. "The kindest of terms you're sometimes referred to out in America is a socialist. The worst of which I've heard is called a Nazi. Are you aware of the level of enmity that crosses the airwaves and that people have made part of their daily conversation about you?
"Well, I think that when you listen to Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck, it's pretty apparent, and it's troublesome," the President responded. "But keep in mind that there have been periods in American history where this kind of vitriol comes out. It happens often when you've got an economy that is making people more anxious, and people are feeling like there is a lot of change that needs to take place. But that's not the vast majority of Americans. I think the vast majority of Americans know that we're trying hard, that I want what's best for the country."
Obama added that he doesn't buy into the favorable coverage of him either.
"I didn't buy all the hype, right after inauguration, where everybody was only saying nice things about me," he said. "And I don't get too worried when things aren't going as well because I know that over time these things turn."

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- The U.S. economy gained more jobs in March than any other month in the last three years, according to a government report released Friday.
The Labor Department said the economy gained 162,000 jobs in the month, compared to a revised reading of a 14,000 job loss in February. That makes March only the third month of gains since the recession began three years ago. Economists surveyed by Briefing.com had forecast a gain of 184,000 jobs. But despite missing forecasts, the March number was generally not seen as a disappointment by economists, because revisions in January and February readings added a combined 62,000 additional jobs. The unemployment rate held steady 9.7% in February, matching economist expectations

Cassell told the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday he wasn't questioning patients or refusing care, because that would be unethical. "But if they read the sign and turn the other way, so be it," he said.
Cassell, 56, also provides Republican reading material in the waiting room — probably not a risky move, given that Mount Dora's 10,000 residents and the surrounding area lean heavily conservative. Above a stack of GOP health care literature, a sign reads: "This is what the morons in Washington have done to your health care. Take one, read it and vote out anyone who voted for it."

I admire that doctor hopefully this guy loses his job...this is a stupid protest because his job is to treat people, and it doesnt say anything in the of turning patients away just because they voted for somebody else. can't wait when doctors have no choice, but do there damn job (most of them do, but others just don't care).
