BUT, to send students home for wearing their country's flag is totally unfair. Be it Cinco De Mayo or not, I see absolutely NO reason for these children to be reprimanded, let alone suspended (which I'm guessing won't happen). The parents have good legal case should they want to pursue this if you ask me.

I agree but believe it or not some other students walked out the next day because they didn't feel "respected". This is surreal. Walkout This will just drive up nativism.
