Probably a short lived thread because I doubt there are that many. I was listening to the radio today where they had a segment of songs that "didn't have the song title within the lyrics of the song." I only got to hear the last few (it was a top 40 of sorts).

Oh, and Rainy Day Woman (#54?)???? I love that song but didn't quite get the title. Perhaps he was saying the subject of the song is a "downer?"

Wow, all the Zeppelin songs - didn't even think of them! I have this problem where I can hear a song I know really well, but I have trouble remembering the title...so maybe this isn't the game for me.

Speaking of Zeppelin, weren't most (or at least at first) of their alubms 1,11, 111 etc? I don't even remember the title of the one album I have. The old man with hay/straw on his back with a mountain background if I'm not mistakent. I don't think there's a title on the cover. It has Black Dog, Immigrant Song, Stairway To Heaven on it. Lots of great songs.

The first album was self-titled. The next two had the appropriate numbers. The fourth one was untitled. The ones after that all had names.

At the time of the release of their fourth album, which became known my some as Zoso or Led Zeppelin IV, the group was criticized for releasing a record without the name "Led Zeppelin" anywhere on the front/back cover. In addition, no song titles were visible. At the time, it was considered commercial suicide. Now it is regarded as one of rock's greatest albums of all time.
