Wow! I like it actually. Not that it makes one bit of difference. I checked my account and I'm a couple dollars short. Seriously, gorgeous if you're rich. Well, gorgeous if you're not rich. The basement is huge and what was it 10,000 sq. ft. children's area? TIS Yeah it was 17,000 sq ft in upper levels, 10,000 sq. ft in lower levels and 4100 sq ft pool house... But if I had a spare few hundred million to spend on housing I think I'd just purchase the Biltmore Estate. I think I could get used to 175,000 sq. ft.

This is different... Bad set of teeth end negotiations for sex in Fla.11 mins ago GAINESVILLE, Fla. – A man went to the police after getting robbed by a woman he intended to pay for sex, but refused when she flashed a smile full of bad teeth. The man told investigators he and a 25-year-old woman were negotiating a price until he noticed her dental problems. He told police that after he resisted, she snatched a checkbook containing $78 from his shirt pocket and fled. The man told authorities the woman did not realize that he had tucked a wad of cash into her bra and that she got scared and ran away. The woman was arrested on a robbery charge. Gainesville police said it was unlikely the man would face misdemeanor charges for solicitation, because he was the victim of a felony. ___ Information from: The Gainesville Sun, http://www.gainesvillesun.com

How bad were her teeth? Were her teeth so crooked she could eat an apple through a chain link fence? Were her teeth so yellow that when she smiled cars slowed down? Was she missing so many teeth that it took her an hour to eat minute rice?

Biggest Defaulters on Mortgages Are the RichBy DAVID STREITFELD LOS ALTOS, Calif. — No need for tears, but the well-off are losing their master suites and saying goodbye to their wine cellars. The housing bust that began among the working class in remote subdivisions and quickly progressed to the suburban middle class is striking the upper class in privileged enclaves like this one in Silicon Valley. Whether it is their residence, a second home or a house bought as an investment, the rich have stopped paying the mortgage at a rate that greatly exceeds the rest of the population. More than one in seven homeowners with loans in excess of a million dollars are seriously delinquent, according to data compiled for The New York Times by the real estate analytics firm CoreLogic. By contrast, homeowners with less lavish housing are much more likely to keep writing checks to their lender. About one in 12 mortgages below the million-dollar mark is delinquent. Though it is hard to prove, the CoreLogic data suggest that many of the well-to-do are purposely dumping their financially draining properties, just as they would any sour investment. “The rich are different: they are more ruthless,” said Sam Khater, CoreLogic’s senior economist. Five properties here in Los Altos were scheduled for foreclosure auctions in a recent issue of The Los Altos Town Crier, the weekly newspaper where local legal notices are posted. Four have unpaid mortgage debt of more than $1 million, with the highest amount $2.8 million. Rich are biggest mortgage defaulters

Was coming home from my folks, and there are a lot of Senior Citizen complexes in the area. Approaching the traffic light there were 3 cars in the left lane, and none in the right, so of course I went into the right lane to pass the ol' farts because after the light it merges into one lane. Nothing worse than getting stuck behind some grey-haired driver doing 40 in a 50mph zone. At the red light, I look over and see an old couple -- like, really old. I was happy not to have gotten stuck behind them. Until the light changed. A very slight hesitation on both sides, and then the pedals hit the floor. (I was a bit shocked WHEN HE FLOORED IT, TOO!) His top-of-the-line Toyota's 0-60 is apparently much better than my Civic's, and it's not like I didn't try. And yes, we both reached 60mph. Part of me can't wait until I'm old and decrepit-looking and still drive like this. I gotta mind-fuck everyone else like this gentleman did to me today. I hope in his rearview mirror he saw me smile and wave in awe. PS - I will need a better car, tho.

I had to take the day off work to go fight a speeding ticket. The officer claimed I was in a construction zone. I didn't think I was. The last ticket I got was 4 years prior and I paid without dispute but this one I thought was a little shady. Anyway I set up the informal hearing-what Michigan calls the pre-hearing- and I was under the impression that the officer would have to show up (if he doesn't they have to dismiss) and that I would have an opportunity to tell my side of the story to the judge. WRONG.I get to the court an hour early and find there's like 60 people who have a "pre-hearing" scheduled with the same judge at the same time. We share war stories. This particular municipality-Romulus- is so notorious for speed traps and tricks that Metro Airport took the rare move of putting up a billboard warning people. Anyway I don't get to see the judge. The judge has outsourced his decision making ability to the prosecutor and a police officer. That REALLY doesn't seem fair or for that matter legal to me but it is what it is. If you have a good driving record-and I did-they offer you a much lowered (60%) fine with no points on your driving record. Otherwise you can request a formal hearing in 4-6 weeks with the judge and the actual cop who gave you the ticket but you would need a lawyer and if you lose you'd have to pay not only double the construction zone fine but also court costs. So I did the wise thing and took the deal. I'm not going to spend $800-$1200 to fight a ticket that's a fraction of it. And I since I work in a pretty time critical job, it's difficult to get time off. BUT I still wonder if that was the right thing to do, as opposed to the pragmatic thing to do. I'm glad I didn't just pay the original ticket fine but this city is obviously running stings. Anyway I learned more about how the system works. If I get another ticket in that area I think I will not take any deals and fight all the way. But it was just a little worrisome to see that the judge who would have heard my case is so clubby with the cops and prosecutor... If you're ever in Michigan be careful driving around the airport. That's Romulus and they will cost you some $$$.

Lilo, same thing happened to my daughter. She got a speeding ticket. The officer wouldn't even look at her PBA card. He threw it back at her and said he doesn't believe in courtesy cards!
Anyway, she got her court date, met with the officer prior to the court, worked out a deal that had a $125 fine, but wasn't a moving violation (won't raise insurance rates). She also took the deal.
The municipalities are desperate for cash. They're doing tons of "Click It or Ticket" stings, and that means they can also check registrations and inspections, brake lights, and so on. They're getting tons of money from this stuff.

so your in favor of world anarchy Haha, no. Anarchists don't want to kill police, they just don't think there should be police. I, for the record, don't think 'all police should die'. But they annoy the hell out of me. The whole notion of somebody being able to put a uniform on and then being able to have a certain amount of power over somebody who isn't wearing that uniform gives me the willies.
