Vito, once again you're right. I am jealous because I can't chase after a 4 year old when I'm 75, like a man can! Whew! Caught me again! Edit: Regarding your point about men having children when they're older, it's a personal preference. I would want to be young enough to enjoy my children. As I get older, I find my physical limitations growing with each year. How long can someone expect to live? What are the chances that if you have a child at 70, you're going to be around to see them mature? I know that there are no guarantees in life, but I feel that you owe it to your children to at least be a statistical probability in their lives.

Britney Spears faces child abuse probe THE SUN Last Updated: 12:58 PM, June 30, 2010 Troubled pop star Britney Spears was facing a probe into allegations Wednesday that she abused her two young sons. Social workers were set to quiz her over claims she beat one with a belt and gave both food they were allergic to and which made them violently ill. The singer's former bodyguard Fernando Flores, who claimed he was forced to quit his job due to Britney's erratic behavior, approached investigators with the accusations, according to The Sun. It is understood that the 28-year-old star strongly denied the claims and insisted she has never mistreated four-year-old Sean Preston and Jayden James, three. Actually I thought he died not too long ago. I could have sworn a Ferris Bueller co-star died. Anyway, I didn't know of his sex offender status. TIS

All righty then... A-Rod keeps the girls a running just as fast as they can/Cause all the girls are crazy bout a sharp dressed man...
"Most booties that propel girls are usually the bigger booties. I have a little tiny one, but it is, nonetheless, juicy," the Knight and Day star, 37, tells the August issue of Harper's Bazaar.
"The more I work on my body at this age, the better it gets," adds Diaz. "I feel so much more attractive now. A thousand percent. I'm appreciating my skin and my wrinkles and all those things." Also keeping her young: her relationship with Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez.

I just heard on ET that a possible movie based on the relationship of Liz Taylor and Richard Burton could be in the works. Taylor is very annoying to listen to these days, but she was quite beautiful back in the day and a good actress during her time. Her and Burton were on every movie magazine cover for years back in the 60's. Most of you probably aren't old enough to remember, but believe me they were quite the couple. Anyway, they mentioned possible for the roles, Angelina Jolie or Catherine Zita Jones (personally, I am not impressed with either), but for Burton they mentioned Russell Crowe. Can't you totally see him in the part. I'm not a Crowe fan either, but I can totally see him in the part. TIS

The actor Wesley Snipes has lost his appeal of a prison sentence he received in 2008 for three misdemeanor tax charges, Reuters reported. In February 2008 a court in Ocala, Fla., sentenced him to three years in jail for willfully failing to file tax returns for 1999 to 2004. During that time he earned more than $38 million appearing in several movies, including two sequels to the popular vampire thriller “Blade.” In the appeal Mr. Snipes said that he should have been considered for probation and that the lower court should have allowed him to argue for a change of venue from Florida, where Mr. Snipes has a home, to New York, where he was born. The ruling did not specify where Mr. Snipes would be serving his sentence. Appeal Denied

Los Angeles, California (CNN) -- Actress Lindsay Lohan showed little emotion as a deputy put her in handcuffs in a Beverly Hills, California, courtroom Tuesday morning to take her to jail.
The actress, wearing a top that exposed part of her back, was surrounded by deputies and was quickly walked to a nearby side door labeled "secure area."
"We love you, Lindsay," her father, Michael Lohan, said as she disappeared.
Lohan was "cooperative" as she was booked into the Century Regional Detention Facility about an hour later, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitemore.
Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel had ordered Lohan to report to the courtroom to begin serving a sentence for a probation violation. The judge said, however, she has no control over how much of the 90-day sentence Lohan will end up serving. The sheriff, who runs the jail, has the power to release prisoners early because of jail overcrowding

Back in the 1980s, they were the biggest stars in Hollywood, both in terms of box-office receipts and bicep circumference. But the glory days of the brawny action heroes -- Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Van Damme, and the like -- eventually faded. In their place, a new breed of '90s star took over: younger, leaner, and nowhere near as macho. By decade's end, Keanu Reeves was a huge action star (shudder to think). Where did it all go wrong? According to an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Sylvester Stallone puts the blame squarely on the caped shoulders of one comic book hero. "It was the first 'Batman' movie," Stallone told the Times, in reference to the 1989 movie adaptation starring Michael Keaton as the Caped Crusader. He went on to say, "The action movies changed radically when it became possible to Velcro your muscles on," a clear dig at how the trim Keaton was encased in a sculpted Batsuit for the film. Stallone joked, "I wish I had thought of Velcro muscles myself... "I didn't have to go to the gym for all those years." Stallone adds that the director Tim Burton's stylish take on the superhero story changed what audiences expected from an action flick: "It was the beginning of a new era. The visual took over. The special effects became more important than the single person. That was the beginning of the end." Stallone's view of the genre

Don't forget 1989 was also RAMBO 3, which not only was a surprising box-office disapointment (shit it flopped in America) but came out months after the Soviets finally left Afghanistan. Actually, RAMBO 3 was released in May of '88, Ronnie. But your analysis is spot-on. That's when Stallone's slide actually began.

I couldn't open the link provided but I assume Sly is discussing "The Expendables", his new movie with Willis (who I like) and Arnold (not so much). I use to watch all his movies when they came out. I even bugged my daughter to go see Judge Dredd (I never heard of the comic book character til then.) Didn't care for it at all. I haven't even seen his last Rambo. Don't know if it's bad scripts and poor choices or what, but by now I'm sure even Sly is thinking he'll always be Rocky Balboa & John Rambo. He's in that mold and I think he's stuck there. Then again, anything is possible. I'd love to see him do another great film ...just not another Rocky or Rambo. TIS
