[i]I say “generally” because there are exceptions. But in general, as I survey the ranks of those who are unemployed, I see people who have overbearing and unpleasant personalities and/or who do not know how to do a day’s work.
How stupid! What kind of "survey" could he have possibly conducted?
He pulled a survey out of his behind... I know a few people who don't have jobs that aren't possibly doing all that I think they could be doing. But I know many more that are busting their *** every day to try to find work. There's no way I could make broad negative generalizations about the unemployed. I think people do that just to protect their ego and say it couldn't happen to me or anyone truly deserving.
