I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol Whaddaya want me to do? Whack a guy? Off a guy? Whack off a guy? --Peter Griffin My DVDs | Facebook | Godfather Filming Locations

And I'll go you one better: Anyone with a southern drawl should be precluded from the Presidency. Except Tennesseans, by way of Pembroke Pines . It may work on J Geoff, but brownnosing won't for me. Brownnosing? Didn't you notice the tongue in cheek? I wouldn't even vote for you to moderate this website, let alone political office . Good points about Bubba, by the way. Getting blown by a fat ugly chick was a poor choice. But when you look at the alternative (in a pants suit ), you almost have to give the guy a pass .

Oh sure now you say that you old greaser. Thing is, Clinton has a history of banging ugly chicks. Is that his fetish or something? I mean if you're gonna swing your political clout to get sex from a Paula Jones, you really aren't that picky. JFK was a overmedicated sick man, a real ruthless bastard but at least when he went cheating, he went for the good stuff. Marilyn Monroe*, Angie Dickenson, I mean he was a man of good taste and wealth, as the rolling Stones would say. *=Sharing her with RFK was icky, but eh you gotta throw your little brother a bone.

Vito - How did things get so far? I dunno. Fatherson lost the thread, Jefferson lost the thread. And its all because I oppose all this presidential sexcpades business. I believed that then and I believe it now.
Detroit Don - I too am opposed to taking a thread about one of the founders and making it into some perverted sex thread. I pay my men extra to stop straying like this, but then other members say "I got a story" and they can't resist. I dont want it near schools, I don't want children to read it. That's an infamnia! In my city we'd keep this in the porno sites. They're all animals anyway let them lose their souls.
Vito - As a reasonable man I have come to reach an accomodation.
Barzini - So straying into the sexual pecidilloes of presidents will be allowed but restricted, and therein lies the peace.
Vito - But I have selfish reasons. My friend, SC has been absent from these boards, and I need to bring him back. Clear him of all these false charges....but if he should hapen to get shot trying to escape or if he hangs himself in the sports threads or if his computer crashes due to a bolt of lightning, then I will blame some of the people in this room, but that aside, we're quits.

SOLLOZZO: The Board's behind me with all its members. The members will go along with anything that will prevent full-scale highjacking of threads. With all due respect, the moderators were -- slippin'. Ten years ago could highjacking have happened? So you gotta talk to SC and that Fat Geoff. It's good Board policy.
I'll try, but I can't stop PB.

Thomas Jefferson had an almost pathological distrust of the urban masses which he disdained because he perceived them as itinerate, unproductive, illiterate, uneducated, and highly manipulable. He thought that control of government should repose with those who were close to the soil, the rural people. So, his words quoted above are not unexpected.
As a southerner, it's not surprising that he disdained banks. He saw them as instruments of wealthy northerners. That's why he opposed a National bank. He figured that it would be used to advance the interests of business et al in northern states.
In addition, his personal indebtedness compelled his heirs to sell off most of his property including Monticello. Again, his admonishments regarding debt have their roots in his personal financial obligations. Banks are glorified loan sharks who take everyone else's money and gambles with it. Fuck em. But that might just be rooted in my personal financial obligations.
