LFO lead singer Rich Cronin has lost his battle with leukemia.

The boy band star died on Wednesday, two weeks after his 35th birthday.

Cronin, who wrote LFO's 1999 hit "Summer Girls," suffered a stroke and died in the hospital.

Former *NSYNC stars Chris Kirkpatrick and Lance Bass, who were friends with Cronin, have both paid their respects online.
