Forgot to mention a couple weeks ago I tried sardines for the first time!
Like you, I wasn't big on sardines until four years ago, when I decided to work on a Sicilian recipe for pasta with sardines. I was using either ziti or rigatoni (I forget) and there were also raisins added. Can't for the life of me remember where I first found the recipe that I was experimenting with - maybe it was the Sicilian Culture website? I had just about gotten the recipe where I wanted it when other matters forced me to lay it aside.
But, since I write down virtually everything that I do in the kitchen, if I can find the recipe I'll post it - definitely would make a nice dinner for two (or one, or three or...you get the idea
