FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Leslie Nielsen, who traded in his dramatic persona for inspired bumbling as a hapless doctor in "Airplane!" and the accident-prone detective Frank Drebin in "The Naked Gun" comedies, died on Sunday in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He was 84.
The Canadian-born actor died from complications from pneumonia at a hospital near his home at 5:34 p.m., surrounded by his wife, Barbaree, and friends, his agent John S. Kelly said in a statement.

Barbara Walters snubbed Pizzaboy AGAIN?!? Maybe not. Perhaps Pizzaboy is actually Betty White with a carefully created backstory as a NY City Italian-American 50 year old male. Hey, it's the internet. You never know....

Michael Douglas who is recovering from chemo from throat cancer is jumping right into another role. He'll play in the biography of Liberace. Who would have thought? Matt Damon will play his long time lover. TIS

Has anyone seen AMC's new series "The Walking Dead?" I am watching a few episodes on "On Demand" but they only have 3 episodes and I know I'm missing the first few at least. How exactly did these "Dead" come to be? TIS

RR, Thanks for the heads-up. However, I missed it. Not to worry though, I found this link which I presume shows all. Boy, he sang most of my favorite songs. "Day In The Life" being my favorite, but I agree, he did surely sound a bit "off". In his defense, I did read in another article about SNL having sound issues before. Still, being a fan, I'll cut him some slack. Nobody will sound the same forever will they? And the Charles/Camilla skit (last one) pretty funny too. I'm still listening to the clips. Thanks RR TIS http://consequenceofsound.net/2010/12/12/watch-paul-mccartney-play-saturday-night-live/
