ronnie, I remember watching this game as a 9 year old. Back then my brother and I were allowed to stay up long enough to see the half time highlights of the preceding day's games as described by Cosell, which was a big deal in the days before ESPN and cable. The half time highlights were our only opportunity to see most teams.

But in this '73 game Gilliam had a dreadful first half, throwing multiple interceptions, and I went to bed with my Steelers trailing 30-3. The next morningmy father told me that the injured Bradshaw entered the game, but the Dolphinsheld on, 30-26 with the Steelers driving when time expired. This game pretty much ended the excitement of Jefferson Street Joe Gilliam, whose life turned tragic.
