Anyone plan on watching the Royal Wedding next week? If I have the time correctly, it'll start at 2:00 or 3:00 a.m. here. No way will I be waking up to watch, but I'd be interested in watching parts of it.  Weddings are always nice. TIS

Sleeping upstairs sucks a little... turned the AC on for the first time this season (at 2AM)... Get a good exhaust fan for the upstairs. It'll work well on early spring and fall nights and save you some a/c bills.

It ended up being over 80 deg at the thermostat, despite it being pleasantly cool and nice outside. Windows open, but not enough airflow I guess. Have to at least bring the temp/humidity down for a little while to be able to sleep.  But no huge deal...

Thing is, my upstairs (bedroom, office, other bedrooms) is above everything else (no real attic to speak off), but I'll keep it in mind -- of course you're right! There is a little attic above all this, so that might help...  Pffft. Is that all?? lol

Here, there's a huge temp diff between floors (split level). Upstairs it's significantly warmer than ground level, and, downstairs, it's significantly cooler. I LOVE downstairs in the summer -- no AC necessary. But it's also cooler in the Winter. I'm always changing clothes lol....

I hate sleeping with the a/c on. I'm an A/C guy ... LOVE it!! I'd rather chill in a meat locker in the Summer than sweat my arse off. But I've found a difference in tolerance for some reason. If I'm at someone else's house, and it's like 75+ I hate it. Mostly because there's no air flow. Here, I can tolerate up to about 80-82, but there HAS to be some airflow. But I'm an A/C guy, so a nice and dry 72-74 is just fine by me.
