Avenue J on a Saturday night reminds me of the scene in "Blade Runner" when Deckard is stalking Zhora.
I think Don Cardi was referring to "The Lords of Flatbush". There's a funny scene with Sylvester Stallone confronting a guy in a pool hall. The character Stallone is confronting is named Moose Mambo, a member of the gang called the "J's", but in real life he was Bruce Reed, my brother's best friend.
