Well its often hard to get proof someone is a rat, these guys lie and deceive people everyday so they can do it to there friends too when needed. Also I think guys are less likely to whack someone on a hunch like they might of done 30 years ago, in the past a lot of people were whacked on suspicion of being a rat when they in fact were not. They still sometimes do get caught though, Danny Marino whacked his own nephew for being a rat.
