http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtMzwbpiBHIThis is a documentary I found on youtube, which I have never seen before, it appears to be British and is very detailed at 2 hours long. What is interesting is there is a lot of info on DeMeo and his crew, including footage of DeMeo at a BBQ and even Joey Testa is there, also footage of Carlo Gambino's funeral where you can see all the big players including Paul Castellano. Good stuff on the alliance between the westies and the Gambino's. Then you have your usual Gotti stuff etc. Philip Leonetti is also interviewed on it. Oh yeah and PAUL CASTELLANO IS ON WIRETAPS!!! so too Bilotti talking about kick-ups from Gotti, Ruggiero also talking about drug deals. All in all anyone with an interest in the Gambino's has to see this, the best documentary I have seen on the family!

Thanks for posting the youtube link. At the 6:10 mark Willie "Boy" Johnson, and a bunch of other guys come out of a social club behind Gotti. Alot of audio and visual images that I don't think are anywhere else. Wonder how they got ahold of all this footage. Excellent upload!!

Thanks guys! I urge everyone to watch it. Yeah Iv'e wondered for a while if we would ever hear from Castellano on tape! I found it interesting too to hear Bilotti on tape and also Ruggiero talking drug deals. Castellano sounds a lot different than I thought he'd sound. He sounds sort of "guidoish"; kind of like a typical "Vinny" from the neighborhood guy. For some reason I thought he'd sound more grandfatherly and subdued.

Thanks for the kind comments guys, Phat is right that channel has some really good stuff on it, really thorough stuff. I find with the series "Mobsters" its more style over substance, good for an overview not great for detail. On a side note does anyone know if Leonetti did interviews for other stuff? Its quite strange he did a British Documentary over a US one. That Leonetti Interview came from or was at least also used on an A&E special hosted by bill kurtis. I saw it a few years back, it looked like it was from the early to mid 90's.

Ya i thought the same way. Hearing his voice he sounds more like a gangster. Are you kidding me? A real gangster has a strong voice. He sounds more like someone was squeezing his balls.
