Isn't Perry the one who wanted Texas to secede from the union? I only just now am hearing portions of his speeches. Is it just me or does he sound very similar to W (perhaps with a little more intelligence?)
Or do all Texans talk the same?

What's scary is that a Romney/Perry ticket could prove formidable, Tis. Romney if far too centrist for the loony tunes on the far, far right. But if Perry ends up on the same ticket, it could assuage some of them into voting that way.
