Walk by this place and it will be very apparent that these clubs still exist. No one is saying they don't exist, Ovation. But you have to admit, there are FAR fewer of them than years ago.

I swear the 2nd half of this one tile store in the East Village on I believe E.11th b/w 1st and Ave A. is used as a social club. I've seen people go in and out - windows completely blacked out but a functioning A/C above the door. I also read in that real deal social club thread (which is prob like 5 yrs old) that its suspected of being a club. I'm pretty sure something's going on in there besides them selling tile out of the other half of the shop. wouldn't be surprised at all....that's always been a Gambino neighborhood (Joe Piney, Handsome Jack)
