Mig, How are you? I heard that on the news. They reported that a wolf and a monkey have yet to be captured/killed. Anywhere in your area? Talk about a freak thing. Wow. TIS

They were hunted and killed for no reason, simply because a person let them out of their cages. Nope. They were hunted and killed to protect the public from becoming a hamburger. Nobody loves big cats more than me but I applaud the sheriff for taking the course of action to save the public at all costs.

Can you imagine, opening your sliding doors to step outside and see a wolf? How about a mountain lion? I saw some pix from a friend in Colorado ...she has a Maine coon cat that is kept indoors. It was sitting by a door when a baby cougar came up to the door. The little cat wasn't afraid and stood its ground until the cougar walked away and rejoined her mother who was standing a few feet away. Gotta love those little guys who stand their ground. .

Wow, that's amazing isn't it? The last think you'd expect to find. And yes, pets can be or act fearless at times. Many years ago we had a small terrier named Gizmo. He'd act so tough to a dog or any animal even if it was 3 times his size. He'd stand there barking tough, until he started getting chased and then he'd scurry off as fast as he could. TIS

In regards to Ohio story, I don't know specifics because they are only showing a news banner on MSNBC, but it reads, "Monkey that was thought to be on the loose was eaten by large cat." TIS

Congratulations!!! You win the golden ticket!!! Detroitā Accused sex-ring king David Kilvington got busted on a prostitution charge. Now, prostitutes and their customers could help get him out of trouble. Supporters have created a legal defense fund and a website to raise money for the Sterling Heights man and emailed a mass fundraising pitch this week to prostitutes and others. Kilvington, 47, is accused of helping organize parties at suburban spots, including bowling alleys, where prostitutes offered goodie bags filled with underwear and golden tickets for free sexual favors. The defense-fund pitch was posted on a Windsor prostitution message board Tuesday, where it was met with almost universal rejection. "How funny is it that they are in trouble for taking donations from us, yet we receive an email asking for more donations!" a prostitute named "Savannah Monroe" wrote. "I for one would have buried some money in my yard so the feds wouldnt have seized all of it!!!!! Lol.".. The defense-fund pitch said he needs quality legal help. "Please consider skipping your next evening out and contribute to David's defense," the pitch reads. "The quicker this is resolved, and out of the media's eye, the better for everyone in the community."...

Motown left its mark on Paul McCartney, and now McCartney wants to leave his on Motown: The pop superstar will finance restoration of the labelās historic piano. McCartney encountered the ebony-and-ivory of the Steinway grand piano while touring the Motown Museum before his July concert at Comerica Park.
The 134-year-old piano, used on innumerable Motown recordings in the 1960s, had long since fallen into disrepair but remained on display in the famed studio of the West Grand Boulevard site.
āWhen I visited the Motown Museum, I remembered listening to records as a kid in Liverpool, learning the songs āYou Really Got a Hold on Meā and āMoney,āā McCartney said via a museum statement this afternoon. āI said to myself, āWow! This is the Holy Grail!āā

Marines More than 16 million Americans answered the call to arms in World War II. Of those, 600,000 were the few, the proud, the Marines. Then there were the Chosen Few, men such as metro Detroiters Calvin Moore, Robert Hassler, Earl Hood, William Cook, Edsel Stallings, Norfflette Mersier and about 20,000 other Montford Point Marines. After years of discrimination, mistreatment and near invisibility postwar, these African-American Marines of World War II are on the verge of getting the Congressional Gold Medal, America's highest civilian honor. It's about time, too, said Hassler, 86, who lied about his age to enlist 70 years ago. "It's always bothered me -- every year for Black History Month, they talk about the Tuskegee Airmen," Hassler said. "Nobody knows about the Montford Point Marines." A Congressional Gold Medal could change that....

They are reopening the case of the death of Natalie Wood. Apparently the Captain of the Yacht now "says" that Wagner/Wood were fighting and thinks Wagner may be involved. Just because they were fighting does NOT mean he threw her over/killed her. I mean wouldn't divorce be easier? That being said, I really like Wagner (and also Natalie) and hope he is NOT involved in any way. They had such a romantic story being married in the early 60s (I think) as young kids and divorced for years and found each other again and remarried. I see however Wagner does support investigation in this matter. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/20...oods-death.htmlI'm hearing any minute now LAPD will make an announcement as to why they are reopening the case. Evidently the captain of the boat/yacht (who wrote a book I understand) told police that he heard Wagner/Wood arguing outside and said he didn't tell police everything at that time. He thinks Wagner may have done something (Kill her?)Also he said RW told him what story to tell police. Natalie was deathly afraid of water and couldn't swim. Christopher Walken was also aboard that evening and all (including Natalie) were drinking. It was ruled accidental. The police interview this afternoon said that Wagner was not under arrest/suspicion and only that they got new evidence and want to check it out. They were pretty vague. I saw part of the interview with the Captain and can't say his info wasn't just speculation from what I heard BUT the police must investigate. I really like RW (or RJ as he's called) and hope no bombshells come about. Why would he have killed her anyway. I mean divorce is so much easier. I always thought Natalie was quite beautiful too. TIS

This cat came from my part of the country, we dare not go outside and say here Kitty , Kitty, because we have alot of these here feline's . I hate to say it but they keep raising the kill on them each year as like all cats , they multiply like fricken rabbits. They are beautiful animals but they have a heck of a attitude. A friend of mine has 180# cat stuffed in his living room. Heck is darn paw is as big as a dinner plate. They are coming down real close to even the city now and in smaller towns and up in the Black Hills, they are all around. If anyone would like one I will see what I can do.

Teacher Tells 2nd Graders There Is No Santa ClausThis has hit the local news. This teacher told her 7 year old students that Santa doesn't exist. What fascinated me are the comments at the end. Some are angry at what the teacher did, but others think that parents are wrong for perpetuating the story of Santa, that it's a lie that has led to the commercialization of Christmas. Personally, I think that children deserve a period of innocence, when they are perfectly capable of believing that some fat, jolly man magically flies through the air in his sled, powered by flying reindeer, and visits millions of children and leaves them the gifts on their list. In exchange, all he asks is for some milk and cookies, and maybe some carrots for the reindeer. Any comments?
