Ligambi certainly didn't go broke; he was doing alright. I know Im getting off topic now though, but even with the money Ligambi was making, he wasn't exactly the biggest mob earner of all time. He was doin' alright but; just alright.
I know its not Philly or US LCN, but Gianni Nicchi, a young Sicilian mobster, was running with some serious heavies and was made by his late teens or early twenties. His nickname was "U picciutteddu" ("the little boy") but he was well respected and capable. He was arrested in 09. Another Italian figure is Giovanni Strangio, a young Calabrian mobster involved in the Duisberg massacre. Just check out their wikipedia pages or google images to see how young these guys were wgile they were doing things.
