Ivy don't you think though the Genovese' really messed up the Bruno hit? Why use young guys who aren't made to do it? The result was the Feds got a snitch and found out everything.

They messed up in a number of ways. First, I'm surprised a guy like Arilotta ever got made to begin with. Probably a result of attrition in that crew. And him promising to send more money down to NY, and the evidence about Bruno possibly being an informant, encouraged Nigro to back him and the Geas brothers. These young punks started pushing around the old timers, including Tranghese, and hired a druggie to do the hit on Bruno. I think it's really Nigro that messed up. And if he already wasn't in prison for life, I wouldn't have been surprised if the family had him killed.
