I won by 1 point. Wooo. The 12 or 13 game winning streak starts now!
Peyton Manning, Jamaal Charles, Chad Henne, Danny Amendola are all Out for the season. I've lost a player to injury in every game.
Manning - Out for season (despite what you may hear on ESPN)
Week 1: Amendola - Out for season.
Week 2: Charles - Out for Season.
Week 3: Collins gets concussion.
Week 4: Henne - Out for season.
I can't believe I am starting my 3rd QB in 5 games.
My 3rd QB in 5 weeks is going to be Superstar Curtis Painter! C-PAIN bringing the pain (to Colts fans, most likely). But he did play a lot better than Collins and a lot better than I thought he would.
I just hope he continues to improve and learns to handle pressure better and not fumble. He has a good arm and throws it where only the receiver can get it or no one can. I really think Painter has a legit chance of doing well, as long as the O-Line protects better.
2 injuries to the O-Line on Monday so they reverted to being crap.
DT Eric Foster bent his ankle in a very painful looking way and is out for the season just like Defensive captain MLB Gary Brackett, Starting safety Melvin Bullitt, Peyton Manning...
5 players on IR, 10 players on the injury report plus Peyton Manning who they are keeping active solely so he might be able to practice with the team in December, not going to play at all might as well count him as IR. 5 of the injured 10 are on the O-Line which is the weak point of the team already. about 5 or 6 of those 10 are starters and there's already 3-4 starters on IR. Basically the Colts are having worse injury problems than my fantasy team.
The Colts carried 1 Under Tackle and 3 other DTs, Foster is now on IR, Fili Moala and Drake Nevis are both injured. Antonio Johnson is the UT and healthy for now. Might be seeing Jamal Anderson or Tyler Brayton at DT. Jamal Anderson has been playing well for us and even scored a TD against Pittsburgh. He was a first round bust in Atlanta. Drake Nevis is the best DT on the roster I hope he heals up soon because he can provide pass rush in the middle and with Freeney and Mathis on the outside plus pressure in the middle, that's hard to defend. Nevis is also big enough to play against the run.
