Dear forum members, i am back with the charts. First updated family is the Bonanno family. Take a look: http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s147/mukremin/BonannoCosaNostraFamily.jpgAs always, it may not be 100% accurate, so all feedback is welcome. This time i wont use a full version upload, because i plan to update it regularly and uploading each new update is to much work. Ill stick to JPG version on Photobucket. E-mail or PM me for high res. Wouldn't an "unofficial boss" be the acting boss, which Vinny TV is? Not sure why Basciano is labeled that.

This is great.
Juuuust one question: Is there a way to see them bigger?
Good job. Right click, select "save image as", save it to your desktop, and double left click the desktop icon that is created (it will show up as "BonannoCosaNostraFamily"). It will show up in Windows Photo Viewer; left click on the little magnifying glass thingy in Windows Photo Viewer. You can zoom in and out with that, but it's low res. You can get the high res version from Mukremin, which I would recommend. When he sends it to you, do the same thing (save it, open it, zoom in and out as you wish). That's if you have Windows, mind. If you got a Mac or something I can't help you.

He is a former one. send me a PM with your e-mail address so i can send a high res one. Other families will folow soon. BTW Ivy, do you see any major error on the chart?

I'm not sure. I just noticed Ivyleague has posted the picture in another topic. Maybe he can shed some light... He posted it as Vernace? Or someone else? Yeah they do but we know better right? We know who they are, what they do..

For what it's worth, a 2009 NY Daily News article said that the Genovese family was being led by a "rotating panel" of high-level members who had recently completed prison sentences. It said this panel included Benny Mangano, Barney Bellomo, Ernie Muscarella, and Larry Dentico. A more recent article, from this past January, suggested that Tino Fiumara had also been on the panel before he died.
When Danny Leo was identified as the acting boss of the family back in 2006, it was said that Muscarella and Dentico had helped Leo to conduct a recent making ceremony. The more I look at it, I'm starting to wonder if Leo came from and eventually took over the Ardito crew.

Looking at all those guys, most of them don't look very bright. Talking about the 'general attrition' hypothesis. It's not like it used to be... But looks can be deceiving though. Well, no one looks beautiful in mugshots. John Gotti did. And Vinny 'Gorgeous' too.

Well, no one looks beautiful in mugshots. Look at Chin's for example - he looks like a mentally retarded guy staring at a truck that's about to run over him.
LOL! Well said. Plus, the feds love to do their raids and yank these guys out of bed in the early morning. I'm looking over these charts again and there seem to be three prevailing "looks" for made guys: 1) Many of them have a "dumb thug" look as was mentioned 2) Many of them have a regular blue collar guy look 3) A few of them, for some reason, look like accountants (seriously, Cefalu and Vernace could pass for H&R Block employees)
