I don't watch any of the CSI's anymore. I use to like them all but got sort of burned out on all the technical lab stuff I guess. I sort of stopped watching.
I really like Hawaii Five-0 too. The stories are actually pretty decent, and the scenery is to die for. Of coure the fact that the star (Alex O'Loughlin) is hot is a plus as well.

My daughter made me watch "Whitney" last night. I'm not a big fan, but there was a scene between her and her boyfriend, and he's drunk, that literally had me crying, I was laughing so hard. Absofreakinglutely hilarious.
I've only seen Whitney a couple times and thought it was kind of funny. Two Broke Girls is pretty funny so far. Really "off-color/risque'" at times but I get a few laughs from it.

Two Broke Girls just hasn't been that funny lately. I was a big fan in the beginning, but now it's just meh. I do like Up All Night. Funny writing and good cast.
Andy Rooney so dreaded the day he had to end his signature "60 Minutes" commentaries about life's large and small absurdities that he kept going until he was 92 years old.
He died Friday night, according to CBS, only a month after delivering his 1,097th and final televised commentary.

Just heard on MSNBC that Robert DeNiro will be playing Bernie Madoff in an upcoming HBO movie. I totally can see him in the part.

Speaking of DeNiro, remember when he gained like 30 lbs to play Capone? I know other actors have done the same. All I can say is I would NEVER deliberately gain weight for nobody, no way, no how. Can you imagine the work to lose it?

He actually gained even more weight prior to that for "Raging Bull."
I remember reading that after the Capone part his doctors told him to never do it again. Too much strain n the heart.
He went from 150 to 210 for "Raging Bull."

I hardly watch anything live on TV any more if I can help it, I use the DVR and start watching about halfway thru so I can fast-forward thru the commercials. (Or I'll watch on a later day).
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol

After film director Brett Ratner used a F-word that can't be used in public anymore, he was fired (he claimed he resigned). He was supposed to produce the next Oscar telecast, with Eddie Murphy hosting. Rat boy gone, Murphy quit, Brian Grazer was brought in to replace Ratner.
Billy Crystal in a tweet claimed he's the replacement Oscar host, which Deadline just shortly ago confirmed.
(In other news, the Oscar ratings will still suck.)
I hear that Billy Crystal is going to do the Oscars. Yea!! I'm glad.

For the first time last night I caught part of Jimmy Fallon's show. Unfortunately I couldn't stay awake but this guy continues to crack me up with his impressions. This is Jim Morrison. He's got it down.

The same word that Archie Bunker said all the time on prime time TV? Yeah... ridiculous. It wasn't even used in a derogatory to homosexual way.
People are WAY too uptight and PC any more, that it makes me sick.
Funny you use Archie, since that whole show was about someone not able to change with the status quo. Times have changed, you just can't get away with it, and we won't miss it.
(What I don't get was Ratner's comment, that he had sex with Olivia Mann "before she was Asian." )

Try this too. (Points to Weird Al for getting former Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek.)
But, you're right, no wonder the music sounds so Doors.

TIS, I've watched Unstoppable several times in the past month and it's really grown on me. I love the camera work and I still get anxious when Triple 7 is on the same track as the train with school kids. You ought to give it another look.

While Lopez, Fiat, the automotive firm’s PR people, and its Detroit ad agency would have consumers believe that the star deigned to return home to film a low-speed pilgrimage through the gritty streets of her hometown, she actually never set foot in the Bronx during the filming of the Fiat spots.
Instead, the role of “Jenny from the Block” was played by a body double, according to two sources familiar with the commercial production. While the Lopez lookalike was actually behind the wheel in the Bronx, Lopez herself was in Los Angeles, where she was filmed inside a Fiat 500.
The shots of the actress were artfully merged to make it appear that she was tooling around New York City’s poorest borough. Big Block, a Los Angeles digital production studio, was hired to merge live action footage with computer-generated imagery to make it appear as if Lopez was in the Bronx.

I have HBO and although it airs a couple series I enjoy, I get tired of the same movies over and over. Once a month they may have something I am actually looking forward to seeing, otherwise it's same old same old.
Anyway, this month (tonight) is the first showing of "Unknown" with Liam Neeson. I saw "Taken" a year or so ago and enjoyed it and this seems along the same kind of action that I think I'll like. I'm sure they'll play the hell out of it for month.

Unlike you TIS, I watch favorite movies over and over again. For example, I've got Unstoppable on right now. I guess that's why I never get tired of watching the GF.
It's interesting that whoever makes these decisions has created alot more cable movie networks most of which I don't subscribe to. Those newer networks now show alot of the films that HBO and Cinemax used to show. I guess it's a strategy to get viewers to purchase more cable services.

There are some movies I never tire of and tend to watch part if not all every time their on (Shawshank Redemption, Bourne movies off top of my head)and GF as well. If it's been a long while since I've seen a film, I'll watch again. But yea, generally, I guess I'm one who usually doesn't watch the same film over and over in a short time span.

Speaking of movies I don't mind seeing again (it's been a while). SyFy channel will be airing "An American Werewolf In London" at 7:00 p.m. Love that movie!
