South Dakota, Frosty? Are you in the Witness Protection Program or something? I didn't think anyone went there willingly .

Do you think it is that global warming deal ? Absolutely. People think global warming is about warm temps. Not. It's about dramatic changes in weather. It has to do with the oceans warming up and changing patterns; hurricanes, monsoons, winds, rain, droughts, icebergs breaking off, glaciers receding, frigid women getting horny, etc.

Apparently poor old Scotland is getting winds of over 100 mph......... Are you sure that's not just flatulence, Yogi? I mean, when I tried haggis, my wife had to move out for a week.

I've tried it, Yogi. I love all kinds of organ meats, from tripe to liver, so it's really no big deal to me. I mean, if my mother had made something like calves liver for me and my brother, and we didn't eat it, then we just didn't eat. And that's the Gospel truth.
Re Scottish food: There are lot's of Irish and Scottish watering hole here in the old Bronx, and they all serve up some great pub grub. And fart jokes aside, I do love turnips!

PB, tell me some of the Scotch places names so i can check them out online. I would love to go them some day. Very proud of me old Scotch blood, even if i am born in England, their deadly enemy Well, the ones in the Bronx (like Piper's Kilt) don't seem to have websites. But Piper's does a have a Facebook page. The bigger joints in Manhattan seem to have their own sites. St. Andrews (on the west side) is one of the better known places. I went to a Christmas party there a few years ago, and I've gone back several times for dinner. Good steaks and whatnot. They also own a half dozen other places in the city. The links are at the bottom of the St. Andrews webpage. Here's the link: http://www.standrewsnyc.com/
