What's up with the shoes? A Don shouldn't be wearing Velcro sneakers. But that thing on his arm might not be a tattoo. Just some kind of injury. The shoes are make me question the pics authenticity.

That seems to be late in Luciano's life, in Italy. Considering his limited mobility due to constant surveillance at that time, it's plausible he'd go casual with his wardrobe. Flashiness was never his style. He wanted authorities to think he was just an old guy retiring. He's looking the part.

If that article is correct and he got those tattoos in 1913, then the fact that he got the nicknamE lucky in 1929 is fiction.

That is 100% Lucky Luciano and he did have tattoos.
