-I shot him a coupla' times. -What's a couple? -Hmm, more than a couple... Really I don't know the exact amount, maybe I shot him 10 times, 12 times? -Maybe fifteen? -Hmm, it could've been fifteen...

John Nicastro was a old time member of the Chicago Heights crew and close confidant of the old time bosses like Dominic Roberto, Jim Emery, Frank LaPorte and John Roberts. I dont know if he was related to Pete Nicastro, member of the 42 gang.

Thank you guys. Its my pleasure
@BarrettM First time i hear about that and to be honest i dont belive it.Confidant?Yes!Boss? No!First of all Dominic Roberto was the boss of the Chicago Heights crew untill 1933 when he got deported Emery inherited his position.By that time Al was in prison. LaPorte took over as boss after Emery in the 1950's
It looks like thats just another rumour spread around by money making authors.Same as Giancana Jr. and Corbitt when they stated that Hy Larner was the real boss behind Sam Giancana and the Outfit in general. It's from Lawrence Bergreen's book Capone: The Man and the Era. I think Bergreen is nuts or on drugs or something. His book gets really strange at times.

@Moe i dont think that theres anny blood relations between D'Arco and Capone.
I am not sure, but I think the question was whether he was related to Al D'Arco from the Lucchese family, not Al Capone. Oh sorry than, maybe i misunderstood the question. Although John D'Arco bore a striking resemblance to Al Capone
