I really don´t know. But no historical fact (what I know of) suggests that Terranova had a glass eye.

DeNiro´s best performances as an actor came as a mafiaguy. I´m sure that he met a few wiseguys over the years. Many of them seems to admire DeNiro for his work. Which is fully understandable if you ask me. But, let us not draw hasty conclusions about DeNiro´s mob ties.
This picture was taken in connection with DeNiro prepering himself for his role in "Analyze This". Well, that´s the official story anyway.

For sure, I mean. The mob wasn't taking pictures with Frank Sinatra because he was their business partner. They loved and admired the guy. Same goes for Deniro. When Jimmy Burke heard he was being portrayed by him, he was grateful to be played by such a skilled actor. That seems to be the mob's general consensus, that he's just awesome. As for a mafia film actor who really tries to be mobbed up, look up Tony Darrow.

Absolutely, Hairy. And let's not forget that these guys are hardly bastions of liberalism. I remember reading a few years back where a few mob guys were picked up on a wiretap praising DeNiro as an actor, but ripping him apart for being married to a black woman. Their choice of words was pretty crude.

Frank Cali' had a black girlfriend for years. There's that photo of him in the restaurant with her, maybe in this thread or another pic thread. He paraded her around like nobody's business, taking her everywhere. I never heard of anyone saying anything about it.
