He was released from prison 2000 and since then he lives in Flodira.They believe he is retired.

It seems like Tommy was a guy who never wanted any part of the life, but just happeend to be born into it, destiny. Did Tommy Gambino ever have an actual crew when he was a capo? I never remember hearing him being connected to any violence either.

I read when John Gotti took over he was gonna "beef" up tommy's crew but was not gonna assign any hot heads to him (because he's a sweetheart)...not sure who he had under him but boy does he look like his father .. I don't think violence is in his nature, I'm sure if he had a problem he couldn't deal with by talking it over he would have told gotti - and gotti would have had some bones broken etc ..

All the members in Tommy Gambino´s crew seems to have been primarily white collar guys.
And his crew seems to have been scattered from Staten Island, NY to Connecticut.
The ones I know of are:

"Skinny" Phil LoScalzo,
Carmine "Top Tomato" Sciandra,
Salvatore Spatola,
"Big" George Remini (who was little of a hothead btw),
Tommy DeBrizzi (who was murdered in 1988)
Tony "Genious" Megale,
Pete Castellana (possibly, I´m not sure).

It also seems that his cousin Joeseph Gambino, after being demoted sometime in the 1980s, was assigned to this crew.
