Wow, I feel better today! It must of been some kind of virus. Believe it or not, but I've never in my life had the flu. My mom had it right after I had Codey, and it was a miracle he didn't get it. I figure I was very lucky because he was only about a month and a half old. Miggy, I hope your 8 year old gets better. Its hard taking care of someone who has the flu, young or older.

Anyhow, I'm getting my free DVD from Papa John's. Actually, I'm getting two for my "inconvience". Drop Dead Fred and Don Juan Demarco. How cool is that?!

The 20th L.A. Marathon is coming up in 5 months (March 6, 2005) and I can't train for it! I would have had to start training either this week or last week for the 26.2 mile marathon. But I just started walking again (new cast) Saturday, and I asked the doctor when I could start training for the marathon, and he laughed in my face and said, "There's no marathon for you this year, sweetheart." Of course I see where he's coming from, but isn't it horrible? I've always thought it would be so cool to do it, but the only reason I never did, was because it didn't occur to me to actually go in myself. What a retard, huh? I so wanted to run this year, too... sure, there's another one next time, but that won't be the 20th one! Besides, I have a high endurance, I know I could have finished it. *insert Partagas innuendo here*

Oh well, I guess it's just gonna have to wait one more year.

*By the way, there's a 5K run/walk on the same day, in conjunction with the marathon, sponsored by Emerald Nuts. What a name, huh? They're calling it the Emerald Nuts 5K run/walk. My cousin said, "Wow, must be tough, huh?" I had to explain to him that it's named for a product line, and not because it takes "nuts" to run that one. hahahahaha

My ex girlfriend just recently started going out with one of my friends. The guy is not one of my better friends, but we hang out. But them together brings a lot of demons back from the dead, and I am finding myself very agitated. Its wierd though cause Im not mad at him, and Im the one who broke up with her, so I have no reason to be mad at her. Im just mad... plain and simple.

I understand how you feel, but don't get mad. Life goes on. Plenty more fish in the sea and all that.

It is cold, totally. I love it though!! I love sleeping to the sound of the rain. It's gorgeous! Not to mention boots and sweaters and great coats that are finally back in season!
Winter weather puts me in a better mood. A gray sky depresses most people. I don't get it!! It's wonderful.
