They actually had a special on The Heart Attack Grill on Nightline last night. Their waitresses dress as nurses and the owner/cook as a doctor. One of the waitresses was asked about the man that had the heart attack, and she said that she panicked and didn't know what to do because she is not "a real nurse".
They offer free food to anyone who weighs in at 350 pounds or more. Their spokesperson was a 6'8" 570 lb. man who died recently of pneumonia at the age of 29.
If they've found a way to get rich off of America's wave of obesity, I guess it doesn't make them any different than companies like Jenny Craig, just from the opposite end of the spectrum. Actually, the owner's prior business WAS a chain of Jenny Craigs.
