Cheryl Tiegs dislikes SI cover with Upton Evidently Mrs. Tiegs has forgotten her own 1970's mesh swimsuit cover which was just as revealing as anything Upton is doing. LOS ANGELES, CALIF. -- Cheryl Tiegs made the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue more than once, but the revealing nature of the latest edition, featuring model Kate Upton, had the veteran shaking her head.
“It’s not my favorite Sports Illustrated cover of all time,” Cheryl told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Monday’s Access Hollywood Live.
When Billy suggested Kate’s itty-bitty, barely there bikini was “two strands away from Playboy,” Cheryl agreed.
“I agree with that. I like so many of the pictures inside. Sports Illustrated always has that fine line of being very ‘sexy/girl next door/earthy/kind of athletic,’” she said. “This is a step toward Playboy, I think.”

Flippin channels last night, I stopped at "Bridge Over the River Kwai" - Best Picture 1957, Best Actor Alec Guiness. Love the film. Great cinematography - those big bats flying around, great scenery... Classic film MC, i watched it over Christmas, for the 400th time..... A film where British actors play British soldiers! Not Germans . and DeNiro, how many times have you whistled that tune? One of these days I'll have to watch the whole thing.

I love the scene where they are all whistling, icon film moment... They use to have a movie on everyday after school at 4:30 in the afternoon. That theme (whistling and all) was the the theme song of what they called "The Early Show." I always think of the afternoon movie when I hear it. TIS

Bullshit. George Lucas: Greedo ALWAYS shot first!Ensuring that he kept hackles well and truly raised, Lucas also addressed the ‘Greedo shoots first’ debate. The ever-controversial scene takes place in A New Hope, and fans have long argued over who shot first in the film's original print - Han Solo or alien Greedo.
“Well, it’s not a religious event. I hate to tell people that,” Lucas says. “It’s a movie, just a movie. The controversy over who shot first, Greedo or Han Solo, in Episode IV, what I did was try to clean up the confusion, but obviously it upset people because they wanted Solo to be a cold-blooded killer, but he actually isn’t.
“It had been done in all close-ups and it was confusing about who did what to whom. I put a little wider shot in there that made it clear that Greedo is the one who shot first, but everyone wanted to think that Han shot first, because they wanted to think that he actually just gunned him down.”
I haven't seen such glaring denial since that Syrian dictator claimed he doesn't kill his own people. (Too soon?) http://www.totalfilm.com/news/george-lucas-defends-star-wars-changes?fb_ref=facebook_recommendation

Lawsuit against the movie "Drive" Pontiac— Attorneys are set to argue Wednesday whether the film "Drive" is just an acclaimed thriller or, as an Oakland Circuit lawsuit contends "the most anti-Semitic film ever produced."
According to those associated with the 2011 film, which stars Ryan Gosling and Albert Brooks, it is an action story about a Hollywood stunt driver who freelances by occasionally driving criminals to and from their capers. After befriending a female neighbor and her son, the driver suddenly finds himself in the middle of a big money-grab between an ex-con and murderous crime lords.
The film generated more than $35 million but has also drawn heat from one viewer, Sarah Deming, who sued CH Novi, Emagine Novi and FilmDistrict Distribution, after its September release...

It's that time of year.....Sometime in the next month I'll be watching "The Ten Commandments" followed by "The Passion of the Christ". Two of my favorites for some spiritual uplifting. MC, I haven't seen the Ten Commandments in a while. I could get into seeing it again. I DID see Passion of the Christ when it was released, and liked it BUT, it really was emotionally draining. I went with my daughter and after the film ended, we just sat in the seat a couple minutes as people were leaving. It just left me.....I don't know, drained. I don't dislike the film, but I haven't seen it since. I guess it's one of those, at least for me, that I really have to prepare and/or be in the mood to see. TIS
