In my area it got down to 37 the other night. Talk about freezing my ass off. I actually had to scrap ice from my car window. Gets to 60ish or so during the day though. Nice pic Zia. I'm afraid decorations here aren't quite as elaborate. Btw, you don't do your Christmas shopping on Rodeo Drive do you? I've been in some of the stores there, and wow!! So elegant and expensive. I'm afraid to even touch anything. Fun to look around though. TIS

TIS Not all of it... it all depends. I never do all my shopping on one place. I did most of it in Santa Monica, though; we've got great shopping on 3rd Street, Montana Ave., etc. They're more original and cute stuff. I did some of it on Rodeo, though, for my sisters, my mom, and 3 of my cousins. But for everyone, that'd be insanity!! It would cost upwards of like $200,000. Which, btw, I know people who spend that much and more on Christmas. Crazy!!! Btw, Beverly Dr., which is on the next block up from Rodeo, has great shopping too, for much better prices; i.e. Club Monaco, Tag Rag, Enzo, Ann Taylor, Anthropologie, etc.

Well, ya gotta drink it faster! I had to give up coffee (except now and then, after dinner, in a restaurant usually) cuz it screwed up my stomach after years of abuse (I'm talking like, a gallon/day!) It never got cold for me Now, I drink tea cuz it's easier on my stomach. And if/when it gets cold... no problem... iced tea!
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol Whaddaya want me to do? Whack a guy? Off a guy? Whack off a guy? --Peter Griffin My DVDs | Facebook | Godfather Filming Locations

That is unsual Mig, to say the least. About 10 years ago, I came home from work to find a blood trail down my street, including my driveway. Talk about totally freaked out. Come to find out, the guy down the street got pissed off at another neighbors talk and if you can believe this, got a bow and arrow and shot the dog. I didn't see it happen, but you can imagine the neighbors were all stunned. Police came, and arrested the guy, but I don't know what eventually happened. I didn't know who this guy was, but the neighbors dubbed him "Robin Hood." TIS

Irish, strangely enough, I don't drink all that coffee because I NEED it... well I NEED at least one cup a day or else I get a headache... but as for the rest, I just like the taste of coffee. I make a full pot of it in the morning, and I drink it all day... and in between cups of regular coffee, I usually have an espresso in the afternoon with my mom. Orange juice in the morning?! After you brush your teeth, or before? If it's after, orange juice is so nasty when it mixes with taste of toothpaste in your mouth... EW. Geez, deep thoughts today, huh?

It's well below freezing here in Michigan today. I'm sure you probably remember TIS some Michigan winters too and how cold they can get. We already got 3 inches of snow so far. Michigan is known for its weird weather. We have the most bizzare weather in all of the USA in my opinion. It will snow in the spring and be 50 degrees in January some times. This place is so weird, but indeed, cold.

And you liar, teller of tall tales: you trample all the Lord's commandments underfoot, you murder, steal, commit adultery, and afterward break into tears, beat your breast, take down your guitar and turn sin into a song. Shrewd devil, you know very well that God pardons singers no matter what they do, because he can simply die for a song.

Don Ferro, I remember Michigan weather very well. Unpredictable is the best way to describe it. Why, years ago I remember waking up for school, in May....guess what? Snow on the ground. Or, planning 4th of July picnics at Lake Michigan, and it's freezing out. ha ha. We have old movie films of everyone wrapped up in blankets it was so cold. Btw, where in Michigan are you? I forgot. Turi, don't know what you are writing, but put it out of your mind for a bit. When you least expect it, it'll come to you. TIS

TIS Well that's why I came on the BB flipping between my word document and the escapism of the net. I'd probably have hurt someone by now if it wasn't for the helicopter game. Yeah hopefully it'll come. It's an interesting piece I'm doing and something EVERYONE has an opinion on - evaluating the use of performance appraisals. I also need to find a credible source backing up my point that there's been an increase in non managerial staff recieving appraisals. I got one in 1986 but nothing recent. Actually this isn't interesting.
