ESPN Men's Tournament Challenge

http://games.espn.go.com/tournament-challenge-bracket/en/frontpage

ESPN Women's Tournament Challenge

http://games.espn.go.com/tournament-challenge-bracket-women/en/frontpage

Group: Gangster BB
Passw: Corleone

You can create up to 10 brackets, but only one counts for GBB-standings purposes -- please mark your BB entries with an asterisk (*) or numeral one (1) if you have more than one entry in the group. Entries will lock.

One hour following the announcement of the tournament match-ups on Sunday, March 11th, 2012 (March 12 for Womens), you will have the opportunity to select who you think will win each of the 63 tournament games. Entrants may change their selections as often as they like prior to the scheduled tipoff-time of the Tournament (currently scheduled for the morning of Thursday, March 15, 2012; March 17 for Womens) after which all selections must be finalized.

2011 Results:

(Men) MC, DM, JL, LN, IM, KL, LI, BM, JG
(Women) IM, JG, JL, KL

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

Defending Champ will be in. If I remember correctly, I think I won with the Final Four with only one team alive. Everyone else crapped out; of course no one had UConn going too far or Virginia Commonwealth making it to the Final Four.

I have not watched a single game this season. I am an expert who cannot be defeated.

Long as I remember The rain been coming down.
Clouds of Mystery pouring Confusion on the ground.
Good men through the ages, Trying to find the sun;
And I wonder, Still I wonder, Who'll stop the rain.

I've picked some far out brackets before, but this has to be my most far out. I might be out with Yogi somewhere in the North Atlantic.

If you count the Lady Knights, yeah... not sure how they did this year, but they're in it!

We made history. Largest comeback score in NCAA history. What a collapse. Go back to New Rochelle.

Beilein's three point/street ball/no center style came back to kick us in the a$$. Unfortunately, the powers that be don't care too much about the b-ball program compared to football so he's gonna be around for a while. But I didn't have them going too much further anyway so it's not that bad for bracket.

"When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives."
Winter is Coming

Now this is the Law of the Jungle—as old and as true as the sky; And the wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the wolf that shall break it must die.
As the creeper that girdles the tree-trunk, the Law runneth forward and back; For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.

I just checked the Gangster BB and I wasn't there. I guess I never joined (duh!). I guess you'll just have to take my word that my bracket sucks.

It said "LOCKED". You'll just have to accept my write in....after all, I am the defending champion....who will likely finish last; even behind Yogi.

I have 200 pt, tied for last with Yogi and someone called a Scarlet Knight. I looked at his bracket uhwhat, I might not be last. BTW, I picked Michigan State to win.....no one else did. I could pull this out.

Just kidding, MC. Geez lol.

I went to Fordham, which was as boring could be (even in the late 70s when the rest of the world was enjoying the sexual revolution whistle).

We used to go up to the Iona bars every Thursday night to get drunk and hit on girls, then we'd end the night at the Thruway Diner. Some of the best nights of my young adult life were spent near that campus.

About a month ago I posted about a hometown boy, who made the #1 Play of the Day for ESPN with a board shattering dunk in a high school game. His sister, Alyssa Thomas, is a sophomore at Maryland, a 2 seed, and was named the ACC Player of the Year, the youngest woman ever to win that honor. I'm hoping she leads the Terps a long way in the tourney.

I don't care for Rick Petino as a person. He's kind of slimy and vile. But he knows how to come up big in these tournaments. In consecutive games he's knocked out Izzo and Cunningham, two coaches who also know how to run deep in the tornaments.
