It's funny but IvyLeague bitched earlier about liberals using the courts to hijack the country (an unchanged mantra since 1969), but with the exception of the responses to Prop 8...all the other states have passed gay marriage or civil union laws from the legislature. Even DADT was repealed by Congress and not by executive order.
If the legislature of a state passes something like gay marriage, I don't like it but I can't argue with it. Well, unless there is a referendum by the people, which should hold more weight. But that's not saying the gay marriage crowd isn't still trying to get their agenda done through the courts. It's only a matter of time before the issue will reach the Supreme Court.
And, for the record, I'm certainly no Evangelical.
