I'm pretty sure 2nd cousins are legal/safe, let alone 10th, which is WAYYYY removed! So removed, that Hitler probably had hundreds of Gay Jewish 10th cousins (or even 2nd cousins). Having been adopted, I had my DNA checked last year, and have discovered that a 3rd-to-distant cousin has about only 0.10-0.20% DNA shared. In any event, everyone's only 6 degrees removed
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol Whaddaya want me to do? Whack a guy? Off a guy? Whack off a guy? --Peter Griffin My DVDs | Facebook | Godfather Filming Locations

Dr. Frasier Crane, "Celebrity Rehab" host? It's not that far-fetched. This video sheds some Hollywood spotlight behind the scenes of "Frasier," that ninetiest of all '90s sitcoms, and finds that the fake radio doc's callers were largely celebrities making "The Simpsons"-style guest appearances. Helen Mirren, Halle Berry, Matthew Broderick, Ben Stiller and even a young Hilary Duff brought their problems to the "airwaves" in uncredited roles. When you hear them now, it's pretty obvious, and pretty awesome.

Mel Gibson accused of Anti-Semitic statements again. In other news water is still wet and the sun rises in the east. Link Hollywood screenwriter Joe Eszterhas is accusing Mel Gibson, his recent collaborator on a movie about Jewish revolt, of “hating Jews” and using him to deflect his anti-Semitic reputation. In an explosive nine-page letter to Gibson obtained by TheWrap, the screenwriter wrote that the director of “The Passion of the Christ” never intended to make the movie about Jewish heroism, called “The Maccabees.” Instead, Eszterhas said, Gibson announced the project “in an attempt to deflect continuing charges of anti-Semitism which have dogged you, charges which have crippled your career.” "You continually called Jews '****' and 'oven-dodgers' and 'Jewboys.' It seemed that most times when we discussed someone, you asked 'He's a ****, isn't he?' You said most 'gatekeepers' of American companies were '****'s' who 'controlled their bosses.'" The slurs continued, through their work: “You said the Holocaust was 'mostly a lot of horseshit.' You said the Torah made reference to the sacrifice of Christian babies and infants. When I told you that you were confusing the Torah with The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, ... you insisted 'it's in the Torah -- it's in there!' (It isn't)."
"When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives." Winter is Coming
Now this is the Law of the Jungle—as old and as true as the sky; And the wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the wolf that shall break it must die. As the creeper that girdles the tree-trunk, the Law runneth forward and back; For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.

Update on Mad Mel. Joe Eszterhas tells TMZ ... he has hard proof that he witnessed the hate-filled rants he -- or someone -- just disclosed to the world, because his teenage son secretly recorded much of it.
Joe tells us, "A lot of the stuff is on tape." He says the recordings were made in Costa Rica -- by his son Nick. Joe would not say if the alleged comment about John Lennon -- "I'm glad he's dead. He deserved to be shot," or the comment about Oksana Grigorieva,"I want to f**k her in the ass and stab her while I'm doing it,"[/b] or the comment about William Morris/Endeavor Chairman Ari Emanuel, "He's a C**t Jewboy," were all on tape.
In his letter to Mel, Joe wrote that his son recorded some of Mel's outbursts on his iPhone, but the letter did not disclose how much -- now Joe says, "a lot."
Joe also says people who allegedly witnessed Mel's rants are willing to come forward.
As for "The Maccabees" script that Warner Bros. rejected, Joe said, "I'm heartbroken. I put my heart and soul into a script for someone who hates Jews."
Joe said, "He needs help. Badly." That bit I highlighted, wasn't Mad Mel's reasons the same as Chapman's?

As I posted over on the RD, a movie, by Mel, on the Maccabees would be great. And I can certainly understand his disgust with Lennon's "Imagine there was no heaven/religion" secular, humanist bullshit. Of course, thinking that way doesn't mean Lennon deserved to get shot. Though Mel probably didn't mean it literally. Maybe he wasn't literal either when he (allegedly) called that Hollywood insider a "Jew [BadWord]"? And maybe I'm not literal either when I call him an asshole? (The dismissive word you and Mel are looking for with "Imagine" isn't "messianic" but "pretentious." Of all of Lennon's personal misdeeds, and he had quite a few, that's the least of them.)

I used the words that I think apply to Lennon and which annoy the hell out of me. He was a celebrity. Pretentiousness comes with the territory. It was the secular/humanist message in the song "Imagine" that rubs me the wrong way. And I freely admit Mel can be an asshole. Especially when he's drunk.

Believe it or not I never saw "What's Love Got To Do With It" the story of Ike/Tina Turner starring Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburn. I never realized just how awful their relationship was. What a abusive, demanding piece of shit that guy was. He was nothing without her, musically (and nothing otherwise)if you ask me. I remember when they performed together in the beginning, it was always Tina who stood out and Ike was more "background." Anyway, no respect for him whatsoever. I'm sure everyone's seen it but me, but I must say it was disturbing yet very good. TIS

It was well done, but I don't think I would want to watch it again because of the abuse. You're right about Tina overshadowing Ike.

How times change. TITANIC's total box-office in China (1998) - $44 million (Record) TITANIC re-release's opening weekend box-office in China ('12) - $58 million. (Record) EDIT - Controversy in the Chinese blogosphere over the government censoring out Kate Winslet's greatest contribution to cinema. During opening night and the following day, Chinese micro-blogs were alight with simultaneous gripes about the censoring and nostalgic gushing over the film’s sweeping romantic drama. "I've been waiting almost 15 years, and not for the 3D icebergs," said one widely cited micro blog commentator, according to Xinhua News Agency.
The same nude scenes were censored during the film’s original run in China in 1998, but many viewers first saw the film on pirated copies from the West, and thus are more familiar with the unedited version. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/titanic-3d-cuts-china-311644

TIS, it was very disturbing! Honestly, I've never been able to watch Laurence Fishburne the same way, because he was so convincing in that role. Good flick, though. SB, I know. He was so horrible. I've always liked Fishburn and he and Bassett both did an excellent job. I kept getting mad at her yelling at the tv for her to leave the bastard. It was very touching at the Ramada in when she tells the manager, "I'm Tina Turner and am performing tonight. All I have is 16 cents but if you give me a room I promise I'll pay you back." AND, she gives that asswipe everything in the divorce. Then again, in the end she was WAY better off personally & financially. She's gotta feel pretty strong. TIS

The Titanic was only re-released so it would overtake The Avatar as the highest grossing film of all time, only around $700 million behind.. I was just reading that it broke records. Wow and a re-release. Personally, I really liked that movie. I think it was excellent. Did you (or anybody on the BB) see it DeNiro? I imagine it is pretty cool in 3D. AND....Cameron gets richer. LOL TIS

As you probably know, in 1968 JLennon did call a meeting of Apple executives and other Beatles to make the important announcement that he was Jesus Christ. This came to him during an LSD trip the night before. Right after the announcment one of the execs abruptly called a lunch break. During his peacenik phase, he most likely saw himself in some kind of messianic role. On the other hand, he was always changing his views so it's kind of hard to tell where his head was at.

I'll admit that I enjoyed Titanic (the original dvd)... not sure if I'll see the new version tho ( with a fixed night sky, by the way!)
