It had snowed here last night. A pile over 1 foot snow, I was amazed cause we haven't got that much snow in a while. I got off the work 4 hours. But now I'm back to work.

Today and tomorrow it's gonna be in the 60's. Strange for January.

It's in the 50's here today, but close to 70 tomorrow. Our good fortune ends Saturday though, when it won't get past 32 degrees.

Woo hoo! I ordered tickets for me and my daughter to see Phantom of The Opera in NY in October. I can't wait. Watch, there will be a 3 foot blizzard that weekend.

Okay, after today, I officially cannot stand Missouri drivers. I got cut off on Sunset FOUR times within a 12 block stretch, by four different cars, all four of them with Missouri plates. WTF?? Is this a Missouri custom, to change lanes even if there's no room, and with no blinker?! Okay, we don't drive that well in L.A., either, but that is crazy.

I usually get cut off at least a few times per day, but it's different when it's another person from L.A., for some reason. It's almost like since it's their turf too, they've got a right (doesn't stop me from honking at them, but you get used to it). But when it happens FOUR times, from out-of-state, it's like, "Who the hell do you think you are?!?!" ...Why is everyone from Missouri here right now anway?

I'm going to my high school's "Winter Ball" next Saturday. It's basically a prom for freshmen and sophomores. The only way an upperclassmen can go is if they go with either a 9th or 10th grader. My school doesn't have many dances, so I decided that I wanted to go. So I got a sophomore football teammate of mine to hook me up with someone in his grade. I met the girl for the first time today. She's good looking, but it doesn't matter because I'm just using her to be able to get in. I'll give her one slow dance and that will be it. My gf and most other seniors are doing the same thing as me.

Hey, in this month's In Style magazine, there's an article on twins... who has a twin sibling, or who has a set of twins as their kids. And I was looking down the list, and as it turns out, 3 GF actors have twins in their kids! Imagine that. Al Pacino, Bobby DeNiro, and Andy Garcia. Isn't that something?

It was a freak 60 F (15.5 C) yesterday -- VERY warm for January here! This morning it was raining and 50 (10 C) degrees, now it's 40 (4.4 C) degrees and snowing!! Welcome back to Winter.

It was 70 here yesterday. It's in the 50's and started pouring down rain after midnight. It let up about noon. Tomorrow it's only going to be in the low 30's. They wonder why people get sick.

Damn. 10 C degrees is here in Holland normal.

Back to work today. Roads are still slippery due to the snow of Wednesday. It is worst in dead end allies specially near our home, I'm sure there is going to be lots of people with broken legs and arms. It is below freezing point and I'm shaking in my boots!
At least the good thing was we got a lot of snow and we were able to build snowmen! I saw a lot of frosties on the road to work. Good for my nieces (3 and 6 years old), they got their first decent snow to build their first snowman! It used to snow so heavily out here and we used to build ski slopes and have a lot of fun, but it was up to when I was 16. I can tell we didn't get this much snow in ten years. Global warming I guess.

I had a DUH day yesterday. I started the washing machine and forgot to put the clothes in. Thank God I left the lid up and it didn't run.

I stayed up late and watched Brando's "The Wild One". He was a hottie back then

On the "E" channel the other morning they did the E True Hollywood Story about Marlon. I never realised what a mess his life was. When they do a repeat watch it.

They must be recycling songs for these benefit telethons. At the Concert for New York Fred Durst sang "Wish you were here". Now it's being sung tonight at the Tsunami relief concert by Eric Clapton and someone, (I think it's Bill Medley, I didn't catch his name).

Recycling songs comes with the mainstream music industry these days. Especially where charity is involved.

The funniest thing just happened. I'm watching the Tsunami relief telethon and Annie Lennox starts singing. She lets out this high, loud shreak and my cat literally stopped in her tracks, stared at the tv as to say, "WTF was that?" I think she's permantely traumatized.
