Just a good lesson learned I guess.

It was probably my worst movie all year. The plot was excellent, but the acting was just horrible. Scary movies aren't supposed to make me laugh. Texas Chainsaw was decent.. definately not my favorite.. but ehh.. it just didn't scare me. I like scary movies that actually scare me.. I dunno. I guess I'm just a hard person to scare. I agree, The Grudge was horrible. Hide and Seek was alright. There's a huge twist at the end, which was pretty predictable.. but that's all I'll say about that. The acting in it was very good, I think. It had Bobby DeNiro in it and that Dakota Fanning.. (i think her last name is fanning anyway) I like her.. she was excellent in it. Bobby did a very good job too.. of course, it was no Godfather performance, but it was still good. It wasn't very scary though. At least, I didn't get scared. Ehh.. I think I'm goin to see Boogeyman sometime. It actually looks scary, so yay for that.

Wow... I just found out something reeally creepy. There's this kid who rides my bus named Jack. He doesn't go to my school, but he still rides my bus to get to HIS school (which is just across town) Anyway, he gets picked on a lot, but only because he brings it on himself. He makes fun of people first.. so people gang up on him and make fun of him back. So anyway, today at school I heard a rumor that a kid who goes to Madonna (the other school) brought a gun to school with a list of people to shoot. And I also heard that my cousin's name was on that list. So I get home, tell my mom the story, and she calls my aunt. My aunt said that some kid named Jack brought a list to school threatening to "pull a Columbine"... and that my cousin's name was definately on that list. He didn't bring the gun though.. just threatened to. What's weird is, I was just talking to Jack a couple days ago.. and he was asking me a lot of funny questions.. like "So do you still hate me?" "HEY KATIE DO YOU HATE ME STILL??" Since I never really hated the kid in the first place, just didn't like him.. I told him that I didn't hate him. Good thing. He's expelled from his school.. He needs to be committed to a mental hospital.. the kid is seriously nuts. But the only person who can commit him is his dad, and he won't do it. So now there's a chance he might come to my school.. if the board lets him.

I'm babysitting my 6 month old nephew this weekend. He's so precious. If I ever start to doubt that there's a God, or that angels exist, all I have to do is look at him. He's an angel. I love that kid. I never believed or thought that there could be love at first sight. The first time I layed eyes on him, the first time I held him, I was instantly in love with him. Can't wait til I have my own (although that won't be for another few years, mind you).
Man, where's all the random post whorers at?

I never believed or thought that there could be love at first sight. One of my friends has the cutest little boy I've ever seen in my life. When he was three I first saw this little kid. Blue/Gray eyes, kind of brown to golden hairs, fair skin, cute little dimples. Just like an angel. Anyhow, she once asked me to baby sit him so that she could go somewhere one Saturday morning till noon. The minute the mother walked out he started acting crazy trying to go after his mother and crying. My apartment was on the second floor and I was afraid that he'd hurt himself by falling down the stairs so I ran after him trying to grab him and take him back to the house but he bit my thumb so hard that it started bleeding. The good part was, he got scared of the blood coming out of the wound and stopped crying. I kind of wished he had done it earlier and saved me all the headaches cause he was crying for about 20 minutes before my injury. Anyhow, I stopped thinking kids are angels! Just kidding! But seriously, I'm no good at baby sitting. Good luck to you, although nephew and nieces are other story. They've never bit me when I had to baby sit them.

I'm surprised to see many of the guys still posting. Isn't there a Super Bowl pre-pre game show on or something? I was thinking of starting a "ladies only" thread while all the men are watching the pre-game specials, the game, post game specials, and of course all those instant replays. Believe it or not, even though I don't really care for the games, I usually do have a bet on them. This year I don't for some reason. Anyway, I hope your favorite team wins. Have fun. TIS

I was enjoying singing along to all of them actually. Live & Let Die was great too. Man, the way Guns & Roses slaughtered that song. It has been ages since I heard "Baby You Can Drive My Car." Great performance. Why, I even moseyed on down to the sports thread to give my two cents. TIS
